After having a Mac Book Pro for the last five years and it running at a turtle pace I am happy I made the switch to come back to Window's. This computer is a fantastic steal! I bought it when it was 399 and that was even fantastic, It's FAST, Very responsive and the touchscreen is a welcome addition. This has the storage, function and speed I was looking for. GREAT BUY!

We bought this for the office and gave it to a newly promoted individual. She has used it and quite happy with the performance in regards to what she uses it for. Set up was quite easy as well.

Very happy with my HP Laptop. Love the touch screen. Great computer to search the internet and for general use. I highly recommend it. Quick processor. Love the 10 key keypad and bright screen.

good speed, memory and storage, relatively light weight

I have been looking for an upgrade to my previous laptops for a while now and I found it with this HP. The touch screen is an awesome feature as well. It gives me everything I need and more.

Was a little more than I wanted to spend but I was very pleased with it, touch screen works great, had it about 6 months now and no issues at all, just make sure you download google chrome

I spent a lot of time trying to find a computer for a good deal. This computer stood out and I decided to buy it. It is a fast performing computer and is a great value buy. Here are some a-ha's.... Pros: 1) Fast performing! 2) Great price 3) Bottom of the computer doesn't get hot like my old ones! Stays nice and cool. 4) Start-up isn't the long start-up from the past...it's pretty quick. Cons - None that I have come across so far

Bought this for my daughter who is living internationally. This older style laptop still has an optical drive. Thought for hot humid country and priced very well with plenty of storage.

You will be hard pressed to find a 15" touch screen, 8GB, 1 TB computer for less than $500. I found the value hard to believe. This serves as my wife's secondary computer and she's delighted. Just a note of caution - any computer sold at this price has made compromises. Beware of the light weight plastic. You can't treat it like other sturdy laptops. This unit replaces an old Lenovo Think Pad, which several times survived inadvertent drops. And I find the keyboard location difficult to use; it's located close to the screen leaving a very large "wrist area" causing me to reach for the keys awkwardly. However, both those negatives pale in comparison to the cost/value equation. This is a lot of computer for very little money.

I bought this laptop to replace an older Dell laptop, right out of the box, the performance is great for the amount paid.

I did my homework before buying. Not knowing anything about computers, I had to do some digging! Then I knew what I needed, what I was looking for and wanted to pay for a laptop. Everything I wanted was in this hp laptop. Got this at a great price, I think...2 yrs later I am still loving it! Works well and easy to use. The touch screen took some time to get use to, but I finally got it!

Easy to operate only thing buttons are little dark sometimes hard to see and screen doesn't fold all the way back

I am pleased overall with this laptop. The touchscreen is very nice. I do wish it had a lighted keyboard though.

Overall good device for the money. I am only using a couple times a week for PowerPoint presentations-works well
