I read the reviews prior to purchase and when I noted the "flaws" there was nothing to change my mind on the features at the cost of the laptop. Been using now for a month solid on a daily basis and it performs 100%. You can't find this much computer with CD/DVD drive (some of us still like and use that option) along with the memory for any price less. Totally satisfied with this purchase. Highley recommend for anyone looking to upgrade, replace or send off to school.

Thus is a great computer at a great price. Great size, light weight, easy to use, touch screen feature and super fast. The best buy salesman showed me this model after listening to my needs. You can't beat HP for ease of use.I had geek squad set up the computer and I am so glad that I did. Another plus is that linking my printer was literally a click away - no disks or cords needed. Very happy with my purchase.

I wanted a fast computer that can do my normal office work and some personal stuff. It works great for me. It is fast, starts fast, touch screen works great and the sound and display are not too bad either. For a light user it seems pretty good to me and way better then my old computer that was slow and cumbersome from the beginning. The price was right and it is small and light. it is all plastic too.

Just started using this computer. Its good for my needs. Much faster speed than my previous computer. This is my 3rd HP computer. I like the Brand. My 2nd computer crashed with a virus and I wasn’t prepared to get a new computer. I didn’t want to spend alot of money and this fit the bill

Easy to move around. Office now a monthly subscription, so I didn't get it. No writing program. Battery was suppose to be at least six hours of video streaming. I barely get three hours of basic usage. Decent price.

I had my old laptop for 5 years. It was a Samsung and I was very reluctant to switch brands. After careful consideration, this laptop balanced price and features perfectly. I've had it for a few months now and I have absolutely no complaints about it. It's not heavy to carry around, which in my mind balances the size, and the touch screen feature comes in handy.

Love the touchscreen feature and ten key. Light weight. easy to set up and very user friendly. I do wish it was a little faster, but not bad. also wish keyboard was back lit.... but will look at that feature when upgrading in the future. picture resolution is good.

Just a quick swap out to a SSD over the slow hdd this thing comes with and its pure gold. Love the touch screen and its super light, the finish is hard and it performs well with 8GB of RAM. You can redownload Windows 10 From Microsoft for free, just be sure to LOGIN and check the activation tab to make sure the system is activated. That way your new version of Windows 10 will activate also. Also in the BIOS you may need to disable Enhanced Security and UEFI and enable Legacy to load in windows the old fashioned way. (Legacy)

Slim and light laptop with tons of stuff I wanted. Has a dvd/cd tray. Light weight and easy to use keyboard. Windows 10 and cotana that has voice commands. Like the touch screen although I am not used to it and haven't really used it, but it's nice to know it is there. Screen is bright and crisp. Happy with purchase!

I really enjoy this laptop. I had bought it to be used mainly for homework, as I'm taken graduate level courses now and am back in school again. It's great. I was worried that because it was a touch screen it would take away a lot of the performance capabilities, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

I had ordered online but then my order was canceled for some reason. I was never told why. So I actually just went to my local best buy and picked it up. I wasnt expecting it to be touch screen. I really just needed a laptop to do my work and some of school assignments. It runs windows 10. Very fast. Everything is as it says in the description. The only thing I dont like is that the speakers are on the bottom of the key board. which depending on where you are sitting the sound may get muffled. The last model I had the speakers were next to the keyboard at the top. Which in my opinion was better. I always buy HP laptops. They usually are pretty decent with minor things that could be much better/ improved in the future.

The HP Laptop. has the memory to run all my programs smoothly. The touch screen is very responsive and easy to use The .Keyboard is comfortable , Storage is large enough for more than my needs. Windows 10 is working smoothly, The Laptop is also lighter than my old HP and screen is excellent.

Purchased laptop for my wife who was starting a work from home job. It has done everything we have asked of it. Touch screen is a plus. Laptop does feel a little cheap but you can't beat the price for its level of performance. Purchased the 3 year warranty just in case.

This laptop is for my son to use at college, good size hd for installing school applications as well as being able to play lighter video games and watching twitch, youtube, etc. Good price for what it can do.

The month I was using this laptop, it went to a blank screen and started buzzing loudly, so I had to force "shut down". For the last month, it has run fine though. One thing that I am surprised at is how loud the fan is...sometimes I think it's getting ready for take off! But I guess that isn't a major issue for me. It is faster and more reliable than my old laptop was. I liked that this has the DVD drive, 2 usb ports, hdmi, and many other options I may or may not use. I also went with this because of the touch screen, which I wanted. I've only had it a couple of months, so time will tell how long it runs this well! But overall, I'm happy with it so far.

It's a very fast and powerful laptop. Has more features than I will ever use. Learning how to use the new windows program is not easy for me after using windows XP for so many years. But the touch screen makes it easier.

Has the necessary speed and memory for all my needs. I use it to write papers and conduct research and for grading papers. I forget it’s touchscreen at times so that makes things interesting. Very fast and easy to use!

Very easy to set up and start using this laptop. Still have a lot to learn about all the features. I am a senior citizen so not real "techie" but have not had any problems getting started. Touch screen is nice.

I PURCHASED THIS HP TOUCHSCREEN LAPTOP FOR MY SON GOING TO COLLEGE AND IT'S A GOOD DEAL COMPARED TO OTHER LAPTOPS ON PRICE AND FEATURES.

Great laptop, but it won't print on 4 x 6 photo paper. On 12-12-17 I talked to "Justin" from the Traverse City, Mi. Geek Squad. He said he had another person with the same issue the day before. Seeing I live over 100 miles round trip to the nearest Best Buy and it is winter with snow covered roads, I could wait until the weather clears up and then they could help solve the issue. My old Windows 7 would allow printing on 4 x 6 photo paper, but this Windows 10 will not. I am looking forward to getting this issue solved.
