I purchased this based on the price and the touch screen. After reading reviews from others I was skeptical. But I found it was a really good buy and works great. I would recommend it. Plus, Best Buy lived up to their price guarantee after I found it had gone down in price. They quickly refunded me the difference which made my purchase even better than expected.

HP - 15.6" Touch-Screen Laptop - Intel Core i5 - 8GB Memory - 1TB Hard Drive Purchased for my not-at-all tech savvy mother for her birthday, she loves it! She needed something for basic tasks like email, browsing, MS office, and occasional Netflix, this is perfect for her. Touch screen already has her hooked, now she wants a new PC, with a touch screen... She keeps touching her PC screen only to be disappointed. Setup was quick and easy, as was registering it with HP for warranty and support. Had to fully charge the battery before turning it on for the first time, then configured the wifi, updated the OS and installed additional software, which all took less time than showing her how to use it. Impressive Specs: i5 7200u processor is a 2.5GHz hyper-threaded dual core with 4 threads, 12 PCI express lanes, impressive memory bandwidth of 32.1 Gb/s and benchmarks better than expected 50.1% @ UserBenchmark (My top of the line laptop i7-7700HQ benchmarks @ 74.1%). Other thoughts: Picked it up in store... I was reluctant to accept it because it had large black boot prints on the box, someone had very obviously and literally been walking/stepping/standing on it at some point. Thankfully, HP's packaging is excellent, I could have used it as a trampoline without doing damage to the laptop: A++ to HP for their superior packaging!

We needed a basic laptop to take care of personal home things like taxes pictures on line ordering and such.We got all that plus lots of memory for our photos. We would recomend this lap top to any one that was looking for a good fast and moderately priced unit

I had my old laptop for 5 years. It was a Samsung and I was very reluctant to switch brands. After careful consideration, this laptop balanced price and features perfectly. I've had it for a few months now and I have absolutely no complaints about it. It's not heavy to carry around, which in my mind balances the size, and the touch screen feature comes in handy.

Love the touchscreen feature and ten key. Light weight. easy to set up and very user friendly. I do wish it was a little faster, but not bad. also wish keyboard was back lit.... but will look at that feature when upgrading in the future. picture resolution is good.

Excellent Memory and Disk Capacity Processor Speed is Great. Touch Screen is cool. Only issue is after installing Windows 10 update, it takes long to boot, needs some configuration changed, if you are not a tech person, please take it to Geek Squad for fine tuning.

I love this laptop so much! It's easy to use, light and the touch screen is not too sensitive. The picture and video quality is great, so clear and bright. Super fast and tons of storage for homework and such. Everything is so advanced and it updates automatically so I don't have to worry about forgetting. Best purchase I have made at Best Buy by far.

I wanted to buy myself a laptop for basic usage such as typing up school documents, checking emails and shopping online. After reviewing many laptops within my budget I decided to go with this one even though many reviewers left details about the sluggishness and the poor battery life. I figured it wouldn’t bother me since I wasn’t using this for everyday work or playing games, but sadly the two cons I was worried about do annoy me. The quality of the laptop itself is nice, I like the touchscreen feature, it has Bluetooth which is very cool but it is full of bloatware which slows it down. I did remove some of the unnecessary items and it did help a little, just wish the battery lasted longer. Overall it is a good laptop for someone looking to use it for basic things.

We purchased this computer for a first year college student and it has all the requirements to function as a student. Plenty of storage and memory, and it also has touch screen which he thought was very useful. The only thing we had to add was Microsoft Office, which we got at a discounted rate since we purchased together.

Slim and light laptop with tons of stuff I wanted. Has a dvd/cd tray. Light weight and easy to use keyboard. Windows 10 and cotana that has voice commands. Like the touch screen although I am not used to it and haven't really used it, but it's nice to know it is there. Screen is bright and crisp. Happy with purchase!

this laptop has a lot of nice features. I didn't expect to but I particularly like the touch screen. The resolution is fantastic. I probably will upgrade the RAM at some point but this is a good general purpose laptop. The battery life is good, not great, but that was expected. Overall, I am happy with this laptop.

I've only had it for three weeks and am not a fan of HP but so far I've had no problems. The Intel Core !5 is fast and a terabyte of memory seems insane for a laptop. I.m happy with it so far. I hope it changes my poor opinion of HP. They're customer service sucks but if the unit doesn't break down I'll be okay.

I really enjoy this laptop. I had bought it to be used mainly for homework, as I'm taken graduate level courses now and am back in school again. It's great. I was worried that because it was a touch screen it would take away a lot of the performance capabilities, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

I've had this computer for about a month. It's fast enough, no hiccups, and I like the touch screen. I've had an HP in the past and they are one of my favorite brands.

after using this device for a few months, i am impressed by the speed and ease of use for the laptop. I find that the display is excellent and touch screen to boot. the installed features, 8GB ram , 1 tb hard drive are first rate as is the H.P. service suppoert, i will always buy H.P.

We took a while to decide what laptop to buy for our child. We reviewed a lot of different laptops and tried to find one that was moderately priced, but had enough to play games as well as do the homework needed. This computer met all those factors and we got it on sale. It has been really good. It is not the most powerful computer, but for word processing, internet browsing, and playing Minecraft, it works perfectly. I did have to run a defrag on it when I got it because it was 14% disorganized when I checked. It would be nice if it had an SSD, but for the price it's not a big deal.

I had ordered online but then my order was canceled for some reason. I was never told why. So I actually just went to my local best buy and picked it up. I wasnt expecting it to be touch screen. I really just needed a laptop to do my work and some of school assignments. It runs windows 10. Very fast. Everything is as it says in the description. The only thing I dont like is that the speakers are on the bottom of the key board. which depending on where you are sitting the sound may get muffled. The last model I had the speakers were next to the keyboard at the top. Which in my opinion was better. I always buy HP laptops. They usually are pretty decent with minor things that could be much better/ improved in the future.

The HP Laptop. has the memory to run all my programs smoothly. The touch screen is very responsive and easy to use The .Keyboard is comfortable , Storage is large enough for more than my needs. Windows 10 is working smoothly, The Laptop is also lighter than my old HP and screen is excellent.

I love it.... This is my second HP laptop I've purchased and I am so absolutely ecstatic with my choice! I purchased an HP tower about 15 years ago and it also proved to be on point. It's a great all around laptop that is fast with alot of storage, lightweight, and easy to use!!
