After my Toshiba finally gave up the ghost a couple of weeks ago, I went on the hunt for a replacement. I had decided on another, less expensive laptop until I discussed my needs with the CSR. I take a lot of photos and do some editing, so I need storage and processing power while not costing an arm and a leg. This laptop delivers! The setup was easy, the computer is fast, and the keyboard layout is right for me. What's not good about it? After 2 weeks of no problems whatsoever, I started having a few problems with slow boot up for no discernible reason. It's stopped now, but for most of the previous week, the computer would "hang" between the login and the home screen. While the speakers are not the best, they are certainly adequate for a laptop. Despite this minor inconvenience, the laptop still works impeccably. While a less expensive laptop would have met some of my needs, I have to agree with the salesperson: This computer definitely handles my photos and editing much more quickly than if I had bought a less expensive computer. I would definitely recommend this laptop for someone who needs more than word processing, emailing, and surfing capabilities but who is also on a budget.

This computer replaced my old HP that I had gotten from work. It is fast and easy to use. Set up was a breeze. It has a large enough screen to watch movies if I want. The only thing I wish is that the key board action was more quiet. Fan is very quiet.

Good basic laptop. Touchscreen works well. The keyboard did not work and locked me out but they replaced it immediately with no fuss after testing it. Replacement works fine.

I like the laptop (I replaced a 14" Acer notebook that was 5 years old); One thing I miss on the new HP is a back light on the keyboard. I love the touch screen feature.

Very simple PC, with a fast i5 chip. Very sleek and compact. Most of all, its a super bargain for the price. Also, it came with a CD which most PC's don't have these days

This laptop is a great laptop for what I use it for. I only do school work such as papers, research, and I just use the basic Microsoft office products for school. The laptop has enougb RAM and memory for what I use it for and it works great.

I bought this laptop for my daughter going to college. The sales representative took his time to explain the different options available, compared the features and the prices. So far I'm very satisfied. Laptop is light, touch screen is awesome.

This HP laptop computer is working fine. It was on sale for a good price (Christmas 'doorbuster' pricing) and my wife wanted a laptop. Timing and pricing was right.

This computer is fast and has plenty of storage space. The touch screen works well along with the wifi. It is a great computer for the money.

We were looking for a laptop to replace our family shared device that had died after 7 years. It's a little low on CPU/RAM power, but for the price you can't go wrong. The touch screen is a nice little addition. The power button is a little awkward as it is small and hard to tell if you've actually pressed it or not. I purchased this laptop in August of this year, and I have really enjoyed using it. I love the speed of the core i5 processor. I also love the touch screen feature.

Purchased as a gift for my dad. As he listens to/writes a lot of music, the sound quality was important and didn't disappoint. Paired up with Bose mini. Great quality and just a little over $500 so price was on point. Screen res A+

This computer is very good easy to install and use. The product well packed. Best Buy offer the unique product and good service. Including antivirus software.

Considering the price point $550 before any discounts or sale, this is a solid personal computer for basic level needs like word processing (software sold separately), email, photo editing (software sold separately), and browsing the Interwebs. As with all PCs manufactured today there are quite a few "bloatware" (unneeded software) programms installed on this computer. Take the time to look at which ones you do not need and uninstall them to increase the performance of this machine. Careful not to uninstall something improtant though. Anyway, you will be surprised at how much of your system resources are taken up on things like HP Assisntant that in all likelyhood you will never use. Again, this is a basic level laptop in my opinion. If you are looking for a gaming machine this isn't it. But, to check your email, do some schoolwork, or do some shopping on BestBuy.com ( ͡~ ͜ʖ ͡°) this laptop has you covered.

When my desktop finally gave up the ghost I was forced to shop for a new one so headed to Best Buy, The sales person was helpful and after explaining that I do very little on the computer (joys of being old and retired) she suggested a laptop...works well for my e-mail, game playing (Solitaire and Wordament are both addictive). So it is a convenient little machine that fits the bill!

This was one of the cheapest laptops that they sold, but it's right for me since I have minimal requirements.

This laptop was referred by a friend, it's working fine for the apps, music and movies. We re not "power" users. serves the purpose and worth the price.

This is an excellent computer. It was purchased for my mother and this is her second HP computer. She is very happy with the performance and she loves the touch screen.

Excellent laptop for everyday use. I expected a little bit more on the battery life, but as of today, everything else seems to be working as expected.
