This starter works great. It was a gift for my wife and she loves it! She can start it from her desk about 10 minutes before quitting time and when she goes out her car is nice and warm! It is very nice on those cold evenings in the winter.

It has been very useful with the cold weather. This remote reaches farther than the factory installed remote on our other vehicle. I like that the way the transmitter lets me know the vehicle has started, and its easy to use.

The 2way remote may cost you an additional $99 but it is the way to go. This remote will alert you when the car has started. In my previous one way remote, sometimes I might think the car started and is heating up only to find a cold car waiting for me in a freezing winter morning. If you are going to get a remote start, you may as well go for a 2way remote.

The compuStar 2-way confirmation remote kit is easy to use, nice range of use and having the confirmation that the car is secure from a distance is a comfort.

Bought Compustar RS1B-AL base unit and added RF-2WG9-SP two way remote. Installation was neatly done and starter works well. Range is good for remote. Compustar does not need additional cost security module which helps keep the price down. Can upgrade to Drone cell phone starting later. Very satisfied.

Bought it for my wife and she loves it, comes in handy on hot days and cold days. Installation was easy and great job by Best buy, no problems yet and almost on one year anniversary . Worth every penny!!!

Got this add on key for wife and glad I did. Start the car and it lets you know car is started. Prius does not have the parking turn on to know car is running like my truck does. This is a great add on. Wil get another one for second key soon

Range is good and the feedback from the system to the remote is really helpful in knowing the system is operating. Also it provides alerts for alarm activation.

I wanted some way to start the car remotely and lock and unlock the doors This remote does the job from most locations. Some buildings will not let the locks work and the remote start has to be done outside of the building. overall the remote does its job

It's very nice to have especially on super cold mornings. My only complaint is someimes the key fob is a little finicky (paid an extra $100 for the key fob upgrade). Sometimes it doesn't unlock the car right away. So you have a nice warm car and have to stand outside of it for awhile to try to get in!! It takes the trunk a long time to open as well. It does have a nice range though and starts the car up great. Just a side note, once you use the starter key fob to start your car the original key fob temporarily doesn't work until the car is turned off again.

Remote starter works great the only thing I am disappointed with is I paid to upgrade to the 2 way starter and only received one remote.

Has great distance and the indicator lights help tremendously when starting from a long distance away and from within a building.

My original remote starters were broken and the automotive technician recommended these as replacements. (Thanks Rudy.) These flash a different color once the signal has been sent to the starter. In addition, the remote beeps until the key is in the ignition or the allotted time has passed.

Living in Colorado can make a remote start a must if someone does not want to come outside to a cold car at the end of a workday. This remote start works as described and had no additional cost when installing in a 2009 Honda Civic.

Only a few days into the use of this product, it works as anticipated. The range of the upgraded remotes works well, I really like the 2 way communication capability. My wife didn't even know it was installed a week before Christmas...the installation was done very well!

Starts car well. I am confused as to why there is a 1 way AND a 2 way remote starter. Shouldn't they be the same? Have had it 16 days and for some reason it has turned on when I am totally out of my car, I have just locked my car and started to walk away. I don't think I bumped the starter in my purse, but maybe.

Never having a remote car start before I'm glad I did my research and went for the 2-way remotes. Definitely nice to know that the car is started when I can't see the car. The added range is a plus. Parked at the far end of the lot at the grocery store and I can start the car while at the checkout!
