My last ten cars has had remote starters installed on them most of them have been compustar never had a issue with any unit huge time save plus I don't have to worry about the kid not clearing the windows and driving in a unsafe manor

If you are thinking about buying this product...DO it!!!! I had it installed on my 2013 F150 and have not regretted it a day. The remotes are very small.

Works great on cold mornings and hot days. Starts from well inside of buildings, and let's you know that it worked.

Have since sold the truck but this product worked well and BB installation went fine. The two-way remote was fantastic as it offered comfort knowing the vehicle was warming up on those cold mornings.

I saw this on the Daily Specials and for the pricing, it seemed like a great deal. I have an older '04 Murano that we bought new and it's in like new condition, but was lacking some of the new car features. The install went great and I upgraded to the separate button fobs. I have a range now of around 3000'. It locks, unlocks and starts from inside building 10x further away than my '16 Terrain with remote start. Best Buy did a great job of scheduling and was done when promised. Thanks Best Buy!

If you want any range at all, this is a must buy with your Compustar remote starter. $99 is very expensive for what you get. Only one of the remotes is two way.

The remote start is really great and i have had no issues with it at all. its nice to start my vehicle without freezing.

My technician was Ethan. He was very professional and took the time to explain to me the differences between all the remotes starts. I am happy with my long-distance remote start installation. Yes, I would definitely recommend this product and service to anyone who's looking for an upgraded or improved option over factory remote start.

I upgraded to the 2-way remote so I could have confirmation that the car started. The distance works great. Car starts from inside a condo, which is four floors up and on the opposite side of the building. Contains only one 2-way remote, the second remote is 1-way.

No more guessing when I leave the house as to whether the car was started or not! Range is great. Got this just in time for winter!

Bought this remote starter for my daughter's truck & seems to be working the way it should; so far so good. This remote starter system was recommended by the Best Buy Auto Tech installer when I went in to check what they carried. I was originally looking at the Viper brand system until the Auto Tech recommended this one. He stated it was the newest technology (digital) on the market & much more user friendly; i.e. install, dependability, & upgrade capabilities. Price was approximately $30 dollars less expensive than the Viper system so I was happy. My only disappointment is that the system came with only 1 2-way remote, the other remote has 1-way capabilities only. Installer said I could buy a second 2-way remote, but would cost extra. One works fine for now I guess. At least now have piece of mind the truck won't be stolen while warming in the mornings & my daughter appreciates not having to walk out in the cold to warm her truck during the cool/ cold high desert mornings, so its still a Win, Win!

I bought this and had it installed Feb 14, 2015. It is a horrible item. It blew my horn since the alarm kept going off for no reason. My original horn that came with the car broke and no longer worked! I had to buy a horn and Best Buy agreed to pay me for it and install it for free. The new horn sounds horrible. I have been back 8 times within 2 weeks problem after problem. If anything else goes wrong with it, I am going to have it removed totally. Its disgusting that I had to go back many times.

Love the long Range. Works great this is the Second set of them remote I have Purchased for another vehicle.

I can start my car sitting at my desk and when I get off work it i nice and toasty.

We have a car with a viper remote start and one with compustar. Compustar has been much better already. It works every time you press it, and it seems to have better range. The mechanic said he's had a lot of people come in with complaints about their viper, but almost no one for this system. Glad we chose this one.

I purchased this for my girlfriends Christmas gift. Recently it was installed.... Seems to work well.
