I love the FitBit tracker, and don't expect to need the added protection, bit it's good to have and the right price.

I have tried several brands of fitness trackers and this one was the most overall accurate. The only downfall is you can't swim or bathe with it. It says it's shower proof but it's not worth risking it by wearing it in the shower and breaking it. When you sweat the heart rate monitor doesn't work you have to dry it off but it wasn't a big inconvenience. Overall it's a good buy!

I think the Geek Squad protection replacement plans are well worth their money!

The product does what it is suppose to. Wish the band was more durable.

Bought a Fitbit HR at Bestbuy and was talked into the 3 yr extended warranty through Geeksquad. The bracelet broke which apparently happens to almost all Fitbits in time. It is a defect. I called Geeksquad to make a claim. They took all my info, sent me a shipping label and asked me to send the Fitbit to them and they would refund my money. I received a Bestbuy gift card which was $52.00 less than the complete total I should have been refunded for. I realized real fast they were refunding my money, less their $50 + tax warranty cost. I did research online only to learn that Fitbit has a 1 yr manufacturers warranty and I was still within this period. If the bracelet breaks and you are within 1 yr of your purchase date, you can have Fitbit send you a new bracelet at no charge. I called Geeksquad to ask why they had not told me this at the time I made my claim. I waited on hold for over an hour (be prepared to wait on hold for a lengthy time by the way, anytime you call). Finally got through. Asked why they wouldn’t have advised me of the 1 yr manufacturers warranty I could have made a claim on through Fitbit. They had to escalate my inquiry to a manager. About 5 days later I received a call from the manager telling me they had a new associate who did not know to tell me this info and that there was nothing they could do. I asked if they could put the rest of the 2 + yr warranty I still had towards my next Bestbuy purchase. He said no. I had already heard bad things about Bestbuy before buying this Fitbit. I should have trusted my gut. I will not be buying anything from Bestbuy in the future.
