    Geek Squad fixed my connection issue.

    The agent diagnosed my CarPlay connectivity issue as a faulty cable. He listened to me and we went through the connection process sitting in my car. The problem was a broken wire in the cable. He helped me find the correct cable and sat with me while I connected. Great Job!

    I am usually really happy with Geek Squad protection on most all the tech that I've bought at Best Buy. This time having coverage for my son's Nintendo Switch, I am severely disappointed. His Nintendo Switch was a few weeks old when the LCD screen went out due to a factory defect. The Switch was shipped out of state to where the units are worked on through Nintendo certified technicians, and it took a total of two to three weeks for the unit to get back to the store. They found the Switch was defective due to factory defect, and instead of Best Buy having a policy to just replace the Switch with a new one because of a factory defect, Best Buy's policy basically states, you get a "like new" refurbished unit (close to cost). You have to have two or three refurbished units break on you before they will give you a brand new one. Regardless that I spent $300 for a brand new Nintendo Switch, I do not get to have a new Switch for my son. Be warned if you choose to have Black Tie coverage for your Nintendo. I am now in the process of waiting another possible two weeks on receiving either a second used unit, or fixing the same used one to replace the brand new one I bought nine months ago.

    Debating on spending money on something you probably won't need? Yes your toaster will probably outlast the warranty by a decade but if theres a power surge due to a storm or maybe even an unforeseen alien invasion theres still the slightest chance it may break down so at least you'll have the peace of mind knowing that your covered for any unforeseen malfunctions and if it says ADH it even covers accidental . I assure you we sometimes feel like the grim reaper when we are unable to help our customers so remember this. Unless your a total tech member you only have 15 day to return it .I promise it is really not a scam it was actually designed to keep you off the hamster wheel of dealing with manufacturers and hey, just so you won't be left with a feeling of regret for spending money on something you think is unnecessary it is even transferable so if you want to resell your product your increasing the value because we can transfer it to the new owner for the balance of the warranty life. Go ahead splurge on this warranty and live on the edge . I am an employee Im also a customer we still have the same terms and conditions as you do .

    The Best Buy warranty has never been a bad idea, Things happen everyone has a bad day and if an electric brakes it’s never a fun day, having this warranty helps me worry a little less knowing that if something happens I can get it fixed no matter what

    Generally I don't bother with protection plans, but when it comes to newly released consoles and other hardware that may have unforeseen issues, I like the peace of mind.

    I always buy the protection plan. Best buys protection plan has proven worth the money 99% of the time and i would never suggest otherwise.

    Love the coverage geek squad has given me. My tv broke a few yesrs back and i was still under the geek squad warranty and they were able to replace it after coming out and not being able to fix it.
