    Service plan is worthless. I went to the colma Best Buy at 5 pm. I had an appointment and still waited in line. The employee said we don’t service printers, you need to call in home support. Ok I call them, they tell me no it must be serviced in the store. I go back to the store for second time. In time and has I spent more than 35.00. No I highly don’t recommend a service plan. Ok

    No one has followed up with me after I received the first range dented then had to wait a week and take off work to wait on a replacement highly dissatisfied

    These guys have the best reputation for fixing, unbricking,connecting, set-up-ing(stay with me here :), and just altogether doing everything they can to make sure your home or business never misses a beat creating,editing, working, writing,composing etc....My family and extended family has relies on "The Squads" for so many personal needs and they've been right there through the various business ventures, school degrees and anything else in between. Jobs are quoted usually VERY accurately..meaning you don't receive an estimate for $100 and then a bill for $350. They are excellent in working with Assurian for mobile device tablet and various screens (although I believe they no longer deal with Samsung) but both of my warranty claims through them were quick, excellent and painless. I'm not sure if it's Been Squad (technically)that does the install but if it is, I have a few compliments there too. I bought remote start with install included and it was so easy to schedule install online, walk in the store browse around a bit , and less than two hours later I got my name paged on the intercom (I love this part because my name Is Inna Livshits). I love my name so much but it makes people uncomfortable and who doesn't like a good laugh?! All in all, 5 stars from me for the Whole squad aka GeekSquad p.s.s. I totally forgot to mention that once my friend from Jordan was here on a work visa 2 months and thought he would need phone flashed opened and fixed bc the sound was completely gone on one side and was expecting to shed out a few hundo,but nope! One of the squad men asked permission to take it back to take a better look. He came out 10 minutes later, problem was fixed, phone exterior was cleaned and he even showed us a section where the mag battery packs were clearanced to $7!

They answered every question I had (and a few I didn’t even know to ask!), making the whole process feel effortless and even fun. What really blew me away was how genuinely passionate they were about making sure I got exactly what I needed. They weren’t pushy, they weren’t rushed—they were simply dedicated to delivering the kind of customer service you only hear about in commercials. I honestly felt like a VIP the entire time. And once I made the purchase? Smooth. Seamless. PERFECT. They double-checked everything, made sure I knew how to use the product, offered setup tips, and somehow managed to make me even more excited about my purchase (which I didn’t think was possible). I left the store feeling like I had just won some kind of tech-shopping lottery. Best Buy didn’t just meet my expectations—they absolutely skyrocketed past them. If you’re considering buying anything from Best Buy, DO IT. And if your experience is even half as amazing as mine was, you’re in for a treat. Five stars doesn’t feel like enough.

    Dream Coverage!

    I always dreamed of owning a Wacom Studio Pro Drawing Tablet and when I was able to purchase my own I purchased the 2 year Geek Squad warranty as well. I am so glad I did because I had to return my original perchase. Best Buy came through as promised and they replaced my Wacom with a new one in just a matter of days. My dream to own a Wacom didn't get shattered thanks to the Geek Squad! 4 years later my Wacom is still going strong and I am an illustrator like I always dreamed of!

    I LOVE Geek Squad protection. Like, no joke, it's saved me so much money and hassle. Here's the thing – when something breaks, they don't mess around with repairs or give you the runaround. They just replace it or give you store credit to get something new. No questions asked, no drama, just "here's your gift card, go pick out a new one." I've used it multiple times and every time I'm like "wow, that was shockingly easy." Totally worth the protection plan cost because when stuff inevitably breaks (and it will), you're covered. 10/10 would recommend to anyone buying electronics.

    This printer is a lifesaver. I did my research and this is exactly what I need.     Absolutely amazing customer service from day one. I was having a horrible time trying to get my new printer to connect to my computer and they helped instantly and got everything fixed for me remotely! They answered all my questions and walked me through the process so that I could fix it on my own next time as well. They were so kind and helpful, and when my printer no longer worked they helped me find the best option for replacement that was an upgrade for my small business.

    I am happy that I bought this protection for my Epson printer-scanner-fax. I bought it on the recommendation of my son-in-law who found his protection plan to be valuable when his higher-end printer needed to be fixed. My printer has duplex scanning feature that I highly value, so I want it to be able to be fixed if it ever needs it. My last printer didn't have a service plan and it made me sick to have to replace it.

    I purchase Geek Squad protection for all appliances and electronic equipment. Previously, i used it 2x to replace bad products. One example was a 50" large screen Samsung TV, that was expensive. The unit went out after 2 years. The repair company took the TV and did not fix it within the 30 day time limit, giving excuse after excuse. Finally after complaining to BestBuy, they then gave me a choice. I could get a similar brand new replacement, OR I could use that "credit" to upgrade to another TV. I chose to upgrade to a 65" TV for the small difference in price. I was very happy how Best Buy handled that problem and have enjoyed my larger TV .

    If you purchase Geek Squad Protection, don't let Best Buy send out a 3rd party company to do the work. We had sears home appliance repair sent out by Best Buy and they were terrible. Unprofessional, didn't fix the appliance and never came back out when the parts were sent to me. Make Best Buy send out Geek Squad. It's what you paid for. Fine print in the agreement may very well say a 3rd party may provide the repairs. Just tell Best Buy that the 3rd party is not welcome in your home. That's what I did and I've had Geek Squad come out ever since.

    I have a4 4-year protection plan on my Epson - EcoTank Photo ET-8550 All-in-One Wide-format Supertank Printer. I use it for my photography business. If it goes down, then my business stops until it is working again. The protection with Geek Squad gives me peace of mind.

    In this day and age it’s so nice to talk to a real person that you can trust! They cleaned off several spyware viruses on my computer and added their protection plan so if anything goes out I can just take it back to them to have it fixed.

    Every year around the holiday season I turn to B/Buy for all my holiday gifts To insure the recipient's peace of mind I inform them in the event of a problem with whatever device I’ve gifted rest assured that the device will either be repaired or replaced From my history of past purchases with Best Buy I myself have not only purchased Geek Squad Protection on the separate devices gifted to my friends but enrolled in the “Best Buy Total Protection Plan” that gives me reassurance all purchases will continue to bring happiness and peace of mind to myself and my extended family

    It is often recommended NOT to get additional warranty/maintenance coverage when purchasing a new product. I would agree and disagree depending on the environment your product is to be used. For appliances it's a judgement call. For all my devices that I carry and/or use and depend on full time, it's a no brainer and I get the coverage for peace of mind and convenience. I'm rough on my devices and the ability to quickly get them fully restored is very important. When (not if) they break, I can quickly take them to Best Buy and get them serviced/repaired and go about life. BestBuy has replaced my iPhone case twice and screen protector four times in the past 2 years hassle free. We have the extra coverage on all the family's portable devices. While the decision to get extra coverage on some devices may be debatable, the choice of the Best Buy Geek Squad coverage for my personal devices is not.

    Geek Squad replaced my printer!

    I bought a laser printer, set it up and used it for about three months. Then, it suddenly stopped working. I ignored it for a few months, then I tried to set it up again, with no luck. It just wasn’t responding. I tried several times. I was going through some stuff, and I realized I had purchased the Geek Squad printer plan, which I had forgotten about. I took the printer back, they refunded my money and then I purchased a new printer, which I am very pleased with. This plan was definitely worth it, both in time saved, no hassle, and prompt and pleasant service. A+
