We fully recommend buying Geek Squad on any electronic equipment over 100.00. Best Buy stands behind their geek squad protection plans. Either they fix it or replace it.

I would not purchase an electronic without having geek squad protection every again. They actually hold true to fixing and repairing broken items.

Easy to use as Best Buy keeps track of it on the computer. You don't have to have the actual receipt or mail anything in. They will also sub a similar product if necessary. Unfortunately if your product malfunctions before the two years, you will have to buy a new plan for the replacement item.

I am glad I got it. Laptop was for a 7 year old and within 10 months I needed the charge port replaced.

What is taking so long?

If is taking forever to get bac km a tablet that I turned in weeks ago. I'm fairly certain they need to just give me a new one. Not sure what's taking so long. Oh, and they were very rude about the appointment times they do now. They schedule blocks of time which are 20 minutes long. I assumed that was my window to come and drop it off. No, they want you to come at te beginning of that time frame. I was a little late and live over 30 minutes away. When I arrived, the kid told me I had to reschedule. He was literally standing there doing nothing. Very annoying and rude. I would still recommend getting a warranty, though. Best Buy typically has a great policy.
