I have kept checking to see if the entire series is going to be released on blu ray, but so far DVD is the only option. I broke down and ordered it and found the best price was at Best Buy! Once I received the boxed set, I opened the box to find individual seasons in 7 or 8 disc cases. The discs are secured nicely and I did not have to worry about them coming loose during shipping. Everything is well put together and the box itself is strong. The DVD's playing through my blu ray player and receiver that up converts, look amazing as well as the surround sound. I am very satisfied with the DVD's. My only regret is that I waited so long to purchase the series. As far as the actual series, 24 is action packed with great plots. Jack Bauer is a Counter Terrorist Unit agent who is always asked to save the day despite his unethical ways of getting results. This is top 3 favorite TV series of mine.

I AM ENJOYING RE-WATCHING THESE EPISODES. MY HUSBAND AND I ARE HOOKED ON THE 24:LIVE ANOTHER DAY - AND NOW WE ARE GOING TO CATCH-UP WITH THE ORIGINAL 24. I LOVE BEING ABLE TO WATCH WHAT I WANT, WHEN I WANT, WHERE I WANT. THE PACKAGING IS GREAT, LOVE THE EXTRAS, NOT SEEN ON TV AND MY HUSBAND WAS SURPRISED BY THIS GIFT FOR FATHERS DAY.

I finally decided to watch 24 after years of hearing how good it was. I am through three seasons so far and have to admit it is an excellent show. Each episode is riveting and leads you looking forward to the next. The plots have many twists and turns as the show keeps you guessing until the end.

This was one of the best network channel television series ever... Kept you on your toes, especially if you were watching it each week when it first came out.... While a few of the later seasons may have seemed to be similar to others, Jack, Jack and more Jack made it worthwhile....

The movie was a great movie and I have been looking for the movie for a long time, so when I come across the movie that particular day I just didn't want to loose it. I am just so happy I made a good decision to buy the movie that faithful day. Thanks to best-buy

I first watched this series when it originally came out. It was great then and when I saw that it was returning I knew I had to get this. My fiancé did not watch it originally but she was hooked after the first episode. Can't wait to see the new one this May.

Love the show and Netflix went to disk only so I had to buy the whole collection instead of waiting. Made a great choice!

Enjoyed "24" on TV & can now watch again, including the ones I missed originally. Just in time for the new one coming out!

Saw my first episode of 24 this year and got hooked. My family decided we needed to see how it all started and so we bought the complete DVD set. We watch 3 or 4 episodes as a family per week and really love the twist and turns.

Best series of all time. Action packed. Kiefer Sutherland is great.

I bought this series after the most recent season 24 Live Another Day Ended. I had never seen seasons 1 - 6, I started watching when Season 7 came out. Others had informed me that seasons 1 - 6 were great so I decided to buy the complete series two months ago. The first thing that struck me was the plot of each season and the unexpected twists and turns. There were people who turned out to be villains, that I would have never expected to be a villain. I started watching the series in June and have been totally engaged with every season thus far. In some episodes, the acting of a few characters is not that good, but the writing and action scenes totally offset and make up for that. I have found myself watching very late into the night some evenings because of the end of the previous episode had me hooked and wanting to see what happened next. Fortunately, I typically do not need a lot of sleep, otherwise I would've been a total waste at work the next day. If you are a fan of Kiefer Sutherland, action series and a fan of great writing, this is a must have. The only thing about this purchase that I do not like is the DVD Menu selection for every season do not have the option to "play all" which requires you to manually select every episode. This is inconsistent because the 1st season has this option, seasons 2 though 4 do not, then this menu selection is available again beginning in season 5. The other item that could use some improvement is the packaging, when I opened the first season the DVD holders inside were disheveled as if the package had not been totally assembled correctly. The same was true for season 4 which had a broken connector that holds the DVDs in place. The DVD Extras are somewhat lacking although there are a few that add value and insight to the series. Overall, I highly recommend this purchase for any fan of the series and of Kiefer Sutherland.

Overall, I consider this series the best that has been run on standard cable (not including HBO etc) for at least the past 15-20 years. The writers continuously excelled in creating exciting seasons and episodes with completely unexpected twists and outcomes. Furthermore, all eight seasons are filmed in real time over a 24 hour period, and the writers' ability to maintain a logical flow and constant involvement throughout every episode is unlike I've ever seen. Hands down my favorite television series and one that I've gone back to re-watch many times. Does not disappoint.

This classic TV series was made for DVD. A must own for all who have a DVD collection, this suspenseful, action packed series stars Kiefer Sutherland as the lead character, Jack Bauer, a counter terrorism agent for the U.S. Government who does whatever it takes to save the day and foil the evil plots terrorists, foreign and domestic. Superb acting and plots twists will have you on the edge of your seat. I'm very happy the series will be returning this Spring 2014 so get caught up before the series starts again!
