This 24 watt charger is slower than the 48 watt charger, but it's good as a backup at work where I'm not in a hurry to charge, and I'm happy to leave my Surface on the charger all day. But I wish there was a different kind of connection rather than the magnet thingy. And I wish I could move the connection the left side of the Surface so the cord is not in the way when electric outlet is to my left side. But it's still great, and it's way better than the old days when the only gadgets we had were mechanical pencils and slide rules.

We lost the charger to our Microsoft "Surface" tablet on a recent trip. We were happy to be able to quickly purchase a replacement charger at our local Best Buy. It took all of 5 minutes in the store. A sales rep was immediately available & knew exactly where the replacement chargers were located. He handed it to us & we were on our way to the checkout. Once home, we connected it to our Surface & were back in business. Thanks Best Buy!

I ordered this surface charger to have at another location so that I wouldn't have to carry the one that came with it when I was at the other place. It works as good as the one that came with the surface originally. It came within a couple of days which was great. I may opt to buy yet another like this in the future. I would recommend the cord to anyone who needs a second cord.

This is a good substitute for plugging into a second location, other than the original. The associate insisted that it had the same capacity as the one that came with my Surface, but it take twice as long to charge. Associate must not know his products.

Charger works fine but the end that plugs into the Surface 2 doesn't fit as well as the factory-supplied plug. A bit of coaxing required to get it to nest. That said, it does nest and charges fine once it's plugged in.

I had to get my cable replace, because the original, quite working after a year of purchase. I had replace protection so, i receive a replace but doesn't work as great as this. defiantly recommend this power cable.

The power cord that came with my surface stopped working. There was a replacement readily available in the store, letting me pretty much walk in and walk out. I'm using it now and it is working beautifully. Thanks.

I bought this for my Surface Pro 2 because it is so much smaller than the one that comes with it (I needed something easy to carry). It does take a little longer to charge the battery, but not enough to matter.

I ordered a replacement cord on line and it took 6 weeks to come from China. When it came, it was not the cord I needed. I am very satisfied. I only wish it was a little less expensive.

I like this power supply better than that which came with my Surface. It more low profile and easier to travel with. Add that the prongs fold, making it is much more convenient.

It's kind of a pain in the butt because it's easy to disconnect. It's just a magnetic connection so any little movement and it can be unplugged. But it charges like it's supposed to so....

This purchase was to replace my old power supply. It works great. I would have given it five stars but gave it four for not having the extra USB plugin.

i bought this power supply as a second charger, so i would not have to unplug my work charger every time I traveled with my Surface tablet. This fits the bill nicely.

Two thing however, it does not have a USB port like the original one that came with the Surface Pro, had and the cord is on the short side.

Due to me leaving my original power source in Florida during a business trip, I had to buy a new one - without the Microsoft logo - and it works just as good.

Wonderful, fast, and reliable. It does the job.easy to use. Decently priced. 8 would definitely recommend this product to others who have a Microsoft Surface.

My dog chewed the charger that came with my Surface 2. Bestbuy was the only store that had it for a decent price. It works just as god as the original.

My old one shorted out due to fraying of the cable at the connector. I had hoped for a better design, but this one does the job.

Works great, easier to plug up than the original. No problems with it. Ordered on line and picked up in store that evening. Great service..

The original cord broke and it was essential that a suitable replace was acquired, This is an excellent replacement
