Easy to install and a very good fit. Very expensive for what it is, but the only product that will work with the microwave.

There are no cut-out dimensions anywhere on the internet for this item - no sizing other than its full size dimensions. That's not necessarily Best Buy's fault, but it is GE's fault. Because I could not get these dimensions, the cabinet will not work now that it is built. The kit pushes the microwave at least 2 inches higher above the planned shelf which makes it far too tall for me to use at 5'2". I planned for this according to the what dimensions I could find, but it made it much higher than comfortably usable. Also, the kit hangs over the cabinet face more on the bottom edge, so even though the cabinet builder made it sized to be large enough for the whole entire size dimension a gap is left at the top. I have no choice but to return the product, even though it is good quality and easy to install, simply because of a LACK of information (the cut-out dimensions) on the BB website. Now I have a big gaping hole around my micro --- not happy!

Posted .Hello mamaT - we're so sorry to hear that the microwave trim kit did not work for you. In the installation instructions, it mentions that for ADA compliance, the microwave must be installed no higher than 36-1/4" from the floor. The microwave trim kit cabinet cutout dimensions are in the installation instructions as well and should have been 16-3/4" high x 25-1/2" wide. We're sorry this trim kit did not work out for your application.
