Looks Great but not for a 27"
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I ordered a 27" fit kit at the store and the sku for 27" came up with the 30" kit claiming it fit. When it arrived just as expected it did not fit. I ordered the 27" fit kit directly from GE. Products are same but size is different. BEWARE IF FOR A 27". That aside the kit works and looks great. Way overpriced. Contains a metal support kit with a plastic surround that matches my oven. Just be sure of the size. 1 hr install.

Looks Modern

GE customer service said it would be an easy installation but did not fit the cutout of the GE that was supposed to be identical. My boyfriend and I worked all day installing the kit and it looks good. The Weiman spray keeps it looking perfect.

Easy to install; clean finish

But it was straightforward and the instructions were adequate. And I like the finished look. It's worth noting that all of these kits are exorbitantly overpriced, but at least Best Buy price matches, which saved me some money.

GE Profile Microwave Trim Kit Perfection

Nice looking trim for built-in look.

Easy to install and a very good fit. Very expensive for what it is, but the only product that will work with the microwave.

Q: QuestionDo I need the 30 or 27 inch trim kit?The opening is 27 inches wide by 16.5 inches high. The cabinet itself (opening + frame) is 30 inches wide by 19. 5 inches high. We'll be getting the GE Profile 2.2 cu. ft. countertop microwave Model # PEB7226SFSS.

- A:Answer Jackie, I am happy to help. It is going to depend as to whether you are installing this microwave over a wall oven, if so go by the exterior size of the wall oven. You can go with a 30 inch, which will go edge to edge on the cabinet. Both trim kits work with a cutout of 25-1/2" ± 1/8" wide and 16-3/4" ± 1/8" tall.
