First of all, the stand is basically two legs. That by itself isn't a problem, but we had trouble getting them level. It took three of us (yes, three) to get them on level enough to where the TV wouldn't tip over. I'm not sure if the legs were/are defective, but they simply wouldn't go in the way they were supposed to. The TV still isn't perfectly level, but now it's barely noticeable and stable. Honestly, if I hadn't gotten such a great deal on it, I would have returned it for a different model because of the stand issue alone. When I first set up the TV (about two weeks ago) I had to select my input every single time I turned it on, which was time consuming and annoying. After an update I no longer have to select the input (it remains on the last used one) but I still have to push the "OK" button on the remote to get the input to work. I've noticed the Insignia logo also stays on the screen longer when I turn it on. So this is definitely not one of those TVs you can quickly turn on then go about your business. You're looking at a good 10-15 seconds before you even get the menu, then have to push another button. It has some great features, like instant access to Hulu, Amazon, etc., so if you have a steaming service, or a few of them, you'll love it. But if you just want a TV to use with an antenna, cable, or satellite then I wouldn't recommend it.
