Definitely a big step up from using a trimmer more designed for facial hair. The trimmer is pretty good at avoiding nicks, but it is still possible. The arm is particularly useful for back trimming. Some people mention that the foil in the head dents easily, so I've always stored it with one of the included plastic trim guards, and this seems to protect it well so far.

Hands down a solid machine. Keeps you nice and tidy anywhere hair may grow. Back extension is a plus.

We wanted this shaver/trimmer for my husband who is literally a teddy bear. He likes to shave in the summer to avoid the sensitivity of bugs when they land on his hair. This shaver not only works perfectly - giving you a close shave - but the extender wand is perfect for him to do his own back. I suffer from frozen shoulder, which is not only painful, but makes shaving very difficult. After using it on my husband, I thought... why not try it on me. So I tried it first on my legs - it beautifully removed all the little black hairs that had managed to pop up during the past couple of weeks. Then came the true test... can it work on my underarms with my limited mobility. Yes! It works better and is safer than me trying to use a conventional razor. And yes, I made sure to wash the razor head (which is easy to do). The razor charges quickly and seems to hold the charge well so far. I would prefer to have a charging stand, rather than just a cord, but that's a minor inconvenience. It can be used for a close shave, or comes with three combs to trim to various lengths. I would definitely recommend this shaver for people who shave hair below their neck.

This product did snag the skin a few times when I was in a rush while using it, but never cut or drew blood. Whenever I take my time it works great and I don’t worry about cutting sensitive areas while using. The best part is it’s water proof so I can shave in the shower without worrying about cleaning up. I would recommend this product.

Great trimmer for the money. I had a larger Norelco that finally gave out so I needed a replacement. This unit trims really close. Took a little getting used to since its so light, but once you get the hang of it it works great.

I love this, as a bodybuilder, I usually have to shave every other day. But thanks to this I only have to shave my body every 3-4 days. I love the extended arm that comes with it to reach those far points.
