Love the camera and the unique design. It's small enough to carry around easily. Just shot my cousin's birthday party last week and we all had fun watching the reactions of everyone the next day.

We bought this camera in the beginning of December. The footage is fantastic for a camera of its kind, but once you get a scratch on the lens, it shows on EVERYTHING. We went hiking and my husband had fallen, and the 360fly endured a few scratches. We figured it would be ok, but when we came home, we quickly figured out on all of our footage, we have scratches that distract you from everything else you recorded. At least with a GoPro you can replace the case. But on this, once there is a scratch on the lens, there is no going back. The manufacturers need to figure out a better way to live up to what they're claiming, that it is made to stand up to your active lifestyle. If you are reading this review right now, go with a GoPro or save your money until a better version comes out.

The 360Fly is amazing. It was very easy to use right out of the box. I was able to download their app and started recording right away. Recording 360 degrees makes complete sense and is way better than GoPro. Nothing gets by me now. Highly recommended.

My kids and I are having a great time with this camera and the editing app. I also owned the first generation GoPro, and I liked that camera too. The thing is, I see a lot more possibility with the 360fly. The company was also very cool when I called with a few technical questions. All in all, a very fun camera and no doubt where personal video is heading. I can't wait to see what they come out with next, even though I'm just discovering new ways to use the 360 in creative ways.

I have had this cam only for a few days now, and so far I am really liking it! It's pretty cool and has an awesome design. I shot a couple of videos (even mounted it on my dog), and I think the camera gets good videos which are actually in 360 degrees. Will know more with time, but hopeful that it manages to keep me impressed.

I didn't like its resolution, and the IPhone app didn't work properly on my IPhone, I couldn't share the videos on YouTube because they don't support 360fly video yet, and only up to 200mb to share on FB or Twitter, and very hard to share. In my opinion, after experiencing that I prefer to spend on GoPro silver to get higher resolution. For 360 camera it's ok however I didn't like t that much.

Love the design. Beyond that, this has been nothing but frustrating. You need to setup with certain mobile devices, otherwise you are out of luck. The software is not stable or intuitive. It doesn't come with any usable mounts. The support folks respond with a condescending arrogance. This will be a nice piece of hardware, but they unfortunately released before it was ready.

I have had my camera for a couple weeks now. To be honest the first several days I was considering taking it back, because it was a little confusing to setup. Note I am not super tech savvy or intuitive with electronics, but know enough. That said, after a couple calls to customer support, they answered my questions and had me up and running in no time. Be prepared to be fustrated at first if your not super techy, but its worth it to stick it out, the camera is really fun.

Just picked this up for my son who likes to film his surf sessions. To say he loves this camera is an understatement. He has ditched his other action cams and now shoots everything with the 360 fly. What we like most about the camera is its ability to capture everything going on around you and then being able to edit the video from within the application to share with family and friends Can't wait to use the camera around the holidays when our house is full of people and everyone wants to be in the picture

Wow!!! Still trying to get my head around it...This thing sees everything I can't. I mounted the Fly to my longboard, captured a 3 minute ride and spent 60 minutes watching from different Points of View. If a picture is worth a thousand words, 360fly is worth a thousand - different - views!!!

just purchased this camera a few days before Thanksgiving on my husbands request. It is the best purchase we have made all year. The 360° video quality is amazing and the application is so easy to edit. I never have to use my computer, I can edit the video and post right to Facebook from my LG4. You guys hit it out of the park with the 360fly.

360Fly is an awesome gadget. Great resolution and pretty good mic. Very light and easy to handle Would be great if the basic package came with an adapter to be able to use a regular tripod or other traditionally mounted accessories. Right now it only comes with an adapter to be able to use GoPro accessories. You need to purchase the 360fly QuickTwist 1/4"-20 Adapter Black QTTPABLK seperately for $20

I bought this for my husband's B-Day on a whim. OMG! He will not put it down. After one trip surfing and capturing video, he has a new favorite toy. The video was amazing. I still can't believe you capture everything from this little camera. At first we were not sure what to make of everything but the more he plays with the camera and application to edit he will not stop. You have created a monster. Now my son will not stop begging me for one!

As a real estate agent I am constantly looking for ways to standout from the crowd. When I discovered the 360fly I knew this was going to be a way to do that. I have now been playing about with shooting homes and am planning to embed the videos from the 360fly player directly onto my listings. All and all it has been a great experience, however I do wish the microphone captured my voice a bit better.

For someone like me who is not very camera friendly, this product had a very easy setup and within minutes it gave me the ability to capture videos with easy ability to edit my content

I was hesitant because of some of the bad reviews, but this camera is amazing! It gets 360 views around the camera ALL-THE-TIME! All the data is there. I think they have a special website to manipulate the video because there is so much data and other sites just can't play it yet. You can still share the links to your videos, so why the fuss? It's wonderful to begin archiving adventures and collecting all the video data NOW. LOVE this thing!

I got this camera as a gift this Christmas and have fallen in love with it over the last few days. I've used it to capture those precious moments when the entire family is sitting around the living room just hanging out, strapped it on my dog while he runs in the yard, used it to capture our company's holiday party and even driven with it on the dashboard when road tripping around Lake Tahoe. The 360 videos this camera captured just blew my mind - this is definitely the future of videos. The other day I had this on the dining table when cooking food with the family and noticed that the camera had managed to capture an amazing moment of two of our dogs playing with each other on the other side of the room - something I would never have been able to capture with a regular camera since that wasn't the focus on my recording. I'm recording all my videos in 360 from now on - I can't go back to the old world of single viewport recording. This is the best camera to record all those precious moments in life :-)

you can not customize video or picture while in action, it is slow to upload to the net it is not 360 degree resolution is bad but it is nice to have 360 pano easily

It makes zero sense that anyone would rate this less than a 5. Appearance wise this product kills it and the technical features are unbelievable. This is a must have for anyone that does anything outside and/or has a life :) I'm sure that there are applications for this that someone is going to think of (maybe me) that will just be amazing. I look forward to using and playing with this more!

Not sure how they are recording their video and that's not saying much. The video I've gotten on both sunny, overcast and indoors is terrible. The editing software basically lets you trim and cut your video. You can't upload it to Youtube (they say the end of Oct) and you have to use their app to view the video. Sharing said video you have to link back to their site as you can't embed video in Facebook. This is rev 1, I would wait until rev 3. As mentioned before, nothing like a GoPro. The original GoPro is better quality then this action cam.
