After a review of similar TVs, this one had good reviews and the best price (on-line only). It was shipped free and arrived as scheduled. It was easy to set up. It works very good for streaming programs through our Wifi. I have also attached a digital antenna for local channels and they look very good too!

Owned this tv for some time and it has kept up its end of the bargain. The picture quality is good and I haven't had any problems with any of the features it came with. The only issue I have is that it does not have any browsing capability.

Bought this tv for my sons room because we did not have a cable outlet in his room. We use this tv strictly for the TV apps and it works perfectly. The screen picture is beautiful. We are thinking of switching our bedroom tv out now with this same kind because we love the app access.

The TV was bought upon the recommendations of a salesman who stated that the screen was a Samsung product. The quality of the picture is not the problem. Unfortunately, even Best Buy's knowledgeable and very patient techie couldn't solve ours. In the "settings" of this TV there is only brightness/color, etc. control. The size of the image cannot be adjusted!! Older cable boxes that use RCA connection (no HDMI) will only let the reception to be under 30 inches on a 39" TV! (Recordings played through an attached DVD player produce the desired size: they fill the complete screen.) Those folks who paid dearly for a cable box and cannot afford to buy a replacement are stuck with a screen that would be like a large computer monitor - in the CENTER of this large screen. Avoid buying this TV unless you have an HDMI cable box!

My first great insignia product, a with cheap price

This TV does not have volume control that equalizes, so intros, commercials, and other moments absolutely blast at 120 decibels, even though we have our volume set very low. Parental controls do not limit viewing hours, so my kids can watch anytime they want. I have to hide the remote to limit their TV watching.

I shopped around for a little while waiting for a Smart TV of this size to go on sale and when several brands did (this one among them) I made my purchase at the lowest price point I could. As smart TV's go this one is very obviously Roku-Centric to the point that the only thing you see when you turn it on is the Roku interface. This is a little odd to me, but this is where things are going these days I suppose. There might be a way to default the TV to a specific input (like HDMI or Antenna, etc..) but I haven't found that setting yet. It just seems like a lot of extra steps to get video to come up. I will say that Roku seems to be the media-player with the most support however, so that's pretty cool. Nothing really to complain about aside from getting used to a new user interface. The Wifi on this TV is particularly good and is definitely better than average.

I bought this TV to replace a TV Ihad purchased only a few months before. That had been our first flat screen TV. The screen had cracked,but otherwise it worked fairly well. This is a slightly newer version and it seems much more responsive. It also has some improvements thst were not on the original one-eg, can turn it on directly to the cable input and it goes directly to the last channel used. For the money,less than $200. works great. Basics are well covered: clear picture, fairly good sound-we do have a separate sound system. Very easy to set up.
