    We bought this initially as a big screen so we can plug our laptops into it and share our screen. This works like a charm and then connected the apps to the wifi and with a cable connection you can stream certain channels live. The picture quality is great as well.

    Only thing I would change is having a setting to go straight to a preset mode (cable box, Netflix, Hulu, etc as selected by the user) when the tv is turned on. You have to select each time.
