I'm always complaining about the lack of grown-up movies and the abundance of children's movies available in the Blu-ray 3D format, but today I find myself grateful for the imbalance as I never would have watched this movie if not for the lack of alternatives. Beyond having a thoroughly enjoyable plot laden with endearing characters and humor for all ages (some of which only adults will appreciate), this movie sports some of the best 3D currently available on the platform. Many of the 3D titles currently available suffer from image ghosting, but there were very few instances of ghosting in Despicable Me. This may be attributed to its lack of attempts at over-the-top "OH MY GOODNESS STUFF IS FLYING OUT OF MY TV" effects, but a true sense of depth pervades every scene and is much more enjoyable to this viewer than the ugliness that comes with such effects. On an unrelated note, there are some treats in this movie for you If you have a good sound system (particularly subwoofers that go below 20Hz). If you are lucky enough to have kids -and- a 3DTV, then you owe it to your family to buy this movie right now. Even if you have no children, this is a fun 3D super-villain romp that will reaffirm the wisdom of your 3DTV purchase.

Any time an animated film is made with computer animation, it is made in a 3-dimensional "world". Most computer animated films should do quite well on Blu-Ray 3D and Despicable Me is no exception. I'm not sure why a previous review stated that their 3D experience was so awful. Despicable Me is a great movie on it's own merits without the aid of 3D, but having it certainly makes watching it 3 times as fun!(Pun intended!) Either way, this combo pack has so many different viewing options, that if you enjoyed Despicable Me, you will enjoy this combo pack. I did, and despite having the 2D version on Blu-Ray and DVD with this pack, I really can't see myself watching it in anything other than 3D.

I love this movie. When my 17 yr old and I saw it we fell in love w/ the crotchety character and adorable girls. Miranda Cosgrove pulled in great on this movie. This is a perfect movie for family night during the holiday season. Can't wait to purchase on Blu Ray.

This movie is one of the best animated family movies of the year. Kids love it, it has parents laughing out loud. 3D is top notch quality, the most impressive 3D of any animated movie in my book.

This has the Blu Ray version, a 3D version, regular version - and three extra minion movies. Plus a digital copy, too! The movie is excellent. Deep characters you get emotionally attached to - so you forget you are watching a 'movie' let alone a 'cartoon movie'. The story of three orphans and one bad guy who might not be so bad - its a great film. I bought three of these for Christmas...one for us and the others as gifts. Because everyone should see the movie!

Despicable Me was my favorite animated movie of the year! I have watched it many times and I still enjoy the movie. The 3D effects are great, they add even more enjoyment while watching the movie. The voices are all very good, I did not recognize Julie Andrews voice until I saw the movie credits. The minions were terrific. Watch this movie, especially in 3D.

The movie is wonderful. It has all the characteristics to be a great movie! Great story and excellent voice overs. The 3-D effects were good but not great and I am unclear why the company cannot sell the blu ray 3D without all the other versions. Other than that, I loved it!

Despicable Me is absolutely amazing. So hysterical. The blu-ray is near perfect. The video and audio are great. The special features are great. There really isn't anything to complain about here. BUY THIS NOW!

This one beat Alice in Wonderland as my favorite 3D movie, besides the story and humor in the movie was great for children and adults alike

Of course, the movie was great but my product arrived in a timely manner from it's release date and it and it's casing were intact.

Our whole family loves this movie. We get a lot of laughs out of the entire movie. Love those little minions :)

Watched this in 3D and it was fabulous. Love all of the versions of the movie that I can use wherever I go.
