a must have for your 3DR SOLO, there is enough room to put your action cam essentials. Only bad thing I would say is that where the propellers are suppose to go they stay loose and you hear them when moving around. The way I got around it was by using the original compartment where they came. I just cut off the excess.

This is the best soft sell case out there for the Solo. The inside is made of solid, rigged foam by GPC that holds the UAV and all the accessories you need. It might be slightly too large for some aircraft carry-on requirements and feels bulkier than the pictures suggest, but that is the price of extra protection.

This case is specially designed for the 3dr drone. Excellent fit....holds 4 additional batteries. Backpack arm pads are comfortable. Room for extra props...Etc.

The backpack layout is well thought out in its design. You are able to fit up with four batteries in specially designed slots, one on the solo drone itself, and more elsewhere. Plenty of room for extra propellers, and other accessories, as well. A nice way to protect your investment. The only thing I would change about the product would be to include a picture of this backpack packed with the drone, controller and accessories so that the user doesn't have to figure it out a good configuration.

Nice addition to the drone kit. Holds plenty of items. Keeps things organized and safe. If you are still using the shipping case that solo comes with then now is the time and price is relatively low compared to the original selling price.

This backpack was well thought out and made of very high quality materials. I can't say enough on how this keeps everything Solo in one nice place. For the flyer that won't be traveling in anything other than their own vehicle, this is the perfect carry case. Not to mention that it's a backpack too. The ABS foam insert is very heavy duty. Everything fits nice and snug. If you kept your prop foam from the Solo box then, it fits right in front with extra props. I covered mine with Gorilla Tape to make it stiffer. I do have to remove my DBS Mods panel antenna from the controller to pack but, that's hardly worth mentioning. Love this backpack and love my Solo. Fly safe, Fly legal, Fly Solo....

As our budget year rolled around and the FAA redefined the drone market, my boss put a drone into the budget. I did my due diligence and accounted for an extra battery for both the drone (3DR Solo) and GoPro in the PO, but said to myself "Why would we need a specific backpack for the drone? It comes in a carry case from shipping and that should be plenty durable, right?" Sure, the shipping case is durable, but it is designed to protect the drone itself. The 3DR backpack is custom cut to handle the drone, propellers and spares (which need to be sold as singles but that's another review), your flight controller and both chargers, AND five batteries - one on the drone and four spares. My ONLY complaint about the backpack is that it doesn't come with a layout of where things go, so it took a second to figure out where the controller fit. (But the Velcro tab on the sidewall to hold the short strap out of the way while you set the controller in was a GENIUS addition.)

Really well built and designed case. Just like the Solo. Love the raised rubberized logos. My only slight nit would be with the interior foam choice. It's a molded foam that has a rough textured surface. Seems extremely durable but also seems like it could scratch the shiny plastic surfaces of the solo. Time will tell but in general I am happy.

I own several Solo drones and this case/backpack does the trick. My drone, it's hardware, and many of my own accessories fit perfectly. We fly drones in the agricultural industry so we're out in the field very often. The back back works great, load it up, place it on your back and out into the great outdoors you go. A classy breifcase type drone carrier just wouldn't cut it. It's built tough and ready for work.

This is a very nice way to pack up my Solo 3DR for travel. This case holds all of my gear and does it in a way that I do not worry about the items being damaged during transport. I'm able to carry my drone, remote controller, both rechargers, 8 blades, 3 batteries, GoPro Camera, and various attachments. After all of this I still have room to spare. A definite for drone travel.

I had my doubts about the bag--usually I prefer third party companies when it comes to carry--especially for complicated setups like drones. But I also appreciate 3DR thinking of new things outside the box. Fortunately, I got the best of both worlds; 3DR tapped GPC casemakers to provide the foam molding inside, which makes carrying the Solo and all the accessories--including four extra batteries on top of one pre-mounted to the unit--a breeze to tote around. Plenty of room for extra blades in the top, a tablet if you want to use one for flying (I prefer my phone), and even the controller and battery chargers, making this a great setup to keep your Solo and everything it entails--including the gimbal--stored safe and snug. It's roughly the size of a 30 liter bag, and the straps are comfortable for a single or double shoulder carry. The weight is spread evenly so long as you're not putting pairs of batteries in only one side. The outside serves as the base when opened and is water-repellent, keeping the main compartment dry and tight. Buy this with confidence. Unless you're tricking out your unit with a lot of other accessories like the spotlight or other gadgets, this is the comfortable, solid, dry bag to get.

If you spind this kind of money for a toy you better get the case it has a place for every part of the Solo and is very durable

Comfortable and amazing space for all 3DR Solo accessories. Great product, sleek, sturdy, and fits everything.

Hard to review this bag because as a case for your solo it's great, opening design is great, storage is great, quality is great only down fall is the size but that is with all cases. Tech grows so fast now a days that we always over expect so this really is a 5 star bag for the solo just once you fill it up it can get heavy after awhile but it is very well padded. I guess it's like buying a big block V8 and knocking it down a few stars because of gas mileage lol we are never satisfied ... great bag pick it up

I pack a lot in this back pack. I have the drone, controller, chargers, 3 batteries, Gopro, Gopro case, 6 drone blades And still have an extra pocket to use. This backpack is comfortable to wear and easy to pack. It only takes me a minute to put everything away and go.

This bag is awesome. It holds everything well and is easy to access for quick flight.

I paid $34.99 on clearance for this case and would have paid more simply because it fits the Solo perfectly and seems very well built. It's also comfortable when hiking and well balanced. One of the best cases for the Solo if you can still get it.
