Perfect carry bag for my 3DR Solo

Added this and it was a game changer - much easier to pack and carry my drone now - holds drone, controller, 4 extra batteries, charger, extra props, GoPro & extra batteries and charger, camera filters, even room for a log book and extra iPad battery pack
Solo Drone with extended feet and gimbal fit in place without an issue - however props do need to be removed. I find the controller to be a little snug but not excessive and it has its own tie down / Velcro.
This was very well thought out and made, and is even comfortable to wear - get one !!
I use mine for both transport and for storage

This is a must have for Solo owners. The pack is well made and will hold up after regular use. The pack has room for everything, Solo, remote, x-props, 4 batteries, charger and xta room for odds and ends. The top inner section has 1 big zipper pocket great for your tablet, sunshade and even more stuff. there's a smaller pocket below that that holds my gopro and extra batteries and lenses filters. The pack is very comfortable to hike with or just transport it, it will fit in the over head storage in air planes.

It fits the drone, 5 batteries, controller, tablet, chargers, and several sets of spare props. It's got padded backpack straps and back padding and is comfortable to wear. It's not overly large for a back pack, not unusually heavy, and easily fits under airplane seats or in overhead bins.
Props have to be removed from drone prior to storing.
Has padded feet on the back and is designed so that the back of the backpack sits on the ground when packing or unpacking. This means you aren't getting dirt on the side that is against your clothes while wearing it.
The unusual aspect is that the zippered opening runs along the bottom of the backpack. The only reason I can conclude for this is to keep any opening facing downward while wearing, to provide better protection from rain. If the opening had been designed at the top, it would have been possible to pack/unpack while someone was wearing the backpack.

This backpack was well thought out and made of very high quality materials. I can't say enough on how this keeps everything Solo in one nice place. For the flyer that won't be traveling in anything other than their own vehicle, this is the perfect carry case. Not to mention that it's a backpack too.
The ABS foam insert is very heavy duty. Everything fits nice and snug. If you kept your prop foam from the Solo box then, it fits right in front with extra props. I covered mine with Gorilla Tape to make it stiffer.
I do have to remove my DBS Mods panel antenna from the controller to pack but, that's hardly worth mentioning.
Love this backpack and love my Solo.

Notable trip was taking solo snowshoeing. The pack is rather big (since it needs to carry everything and have good support for solo) however it is rather light and very comfortable to wear. Didn't hike super far with it, however did hike up a very steep mountain and I have no complaints. Compartments hold multiple batteries, chargers, extra props, and a few tools I find handy to bring along (screwdriver, wind gauge, etc.). I would recommend this for carrying solo around in light-moderate rain, however would get a hard case if you plan on hiking the amazon rain forest or climbing mount everest.

While you could use the packaging to transport your solo, it's not exactly practical if you're shooting in remote locations. The quality of the backpack is solid, the fit of the components into the backpack was well done. One trick I learned watching online videos was to modify the packaging for the 'blades' and fit them into the bottom of the backpack. Doing this will keep your blades from shaking around loosely. I haven't seen the "travel" case on BestBuy.com yet, but am looking for that (I've only seen it on a video from a tradeshow).

Hard to review this bag because as a case for your solo it's great, opening design is great, storage is great, quality is great only down fall is the size but that is with all cases. Tech grows so fast now a days that we always over expect so this really is a 5 star bag for the solo just once you fill it up it can get heavy after awhile but it is very well padded. I guess it's like buying a big block V8 and knocking it down a few stars because of gas mileage lol we are never satisfied ... great bag pick it up
