I was told the geek squad protection was four years in addition to the manufacturer's warranty. I bought the vacuum on this claim, later to find out that it wasn't true.

I would never ever make a purchase at best by specially bying a protection plan customer service routed outside the us waiting time 40-60 minutes transfering several time to find someone who can take care of repair SERVICE That is unaccaptable BEST BY SHOULD HAVE A US BASE CUSTOMER SERVICE

I haven't had to use my yet but I have friends who have had to use it and there was always no hassle for them and got there product replaced. So from their experiences they told me to get and wouldn't regret it.
