I always get the warranty. Best Buy products are awesome but things can go wrong with even the best of products. Better safe than sorry. They make it easy to get things repaired or replaced on most items. They make it far easir than other stores ive dealt with

I haven’t used my Geek Squad protection plan for my TV yet, but I have used it handfuls of times for my car subwoofer. It has saved me so many times. I had no idea that car subs only last a couple years if that. I’ve had my car sub replaced around 4 or 5 times because they just stop working and bite the dust. Geek squad has fixed and replaced it without issues, but my only complaint is I have to repurchase the warranty every single time the unit gets replaced. So if it just so happens to be damaged beyond repair, you will have to repurchase the warranty once replaced. I’m over all satisfied enough with my geek squad experience that I purchased the protection plan with my TV. It’s great for peace of mind, and it’s nice having all the protection plan information through the app, it makes it a lot easier.

I looked around a lot of different stores and Best Buy lived up to their name. It was the best buy I could find and it’s a great TV 85 inch TCL very good picture good sound the guys that delivered. It were a very friendly and efficient so I would definitely recommend Best Buy if you’re looking for a good deal. Probably going to find the best deal there

Tv is excellent in almost every regard EXCEPT that is does not do 4k120 with dolby vision without reducing the vertical resolution and it can NOT send lpcm audio through the earc port meaning no proper surround sound from any gaming system, even the nintendo switch. Only way is to route your system to a reciever 1st and then to the tv but if youre using a reciever without hdmi 2.1 and a ps5/xsx you will lose image quality and not be able to handle 4k120 or perhaps even 4k60hdr. The picture i attached shows the digital audio out setting that has to constantly be messed with the even get sound to play.

When my TV started to malfunction, the helpful tech diagnosed my problem in minutes over the phone. It was decided that my TV was beyond economical repair, and they would refund the full purchase price. That took a few minutes and they issued me a gift card on the spot via email.
Will by a protection policy on all future TV's purchased at Best Buy. Would rate the whole process with 5+ Stars. *****

I was on the phone an agent hung up on me
I was trying to resolve the fact that out of the three TVs I had with Best Buy once they fixed and resolved one of the TV issues, this led to cancellation of the other two TV warranties abruptly.
I had a technician working on the other TV and the Geek Squad technician cannot process the final items because they canceled the warranty abruptly. I have telephoned in to customer service on three separate occasions to ask for this to be resolved. They have told me they have fixed it, but when the technician goes into the system on his hand, he keeps saying that it is canceled. The agent I spoke with today said he sees I calling 6 times for this matter. My problem was supposedly escalated to 2 supervisors and CARE Support which seems not existent. I have requested CARE SUPPORT phone number or email or contact information and Customer Service says they cannot share because there is no information to them. That CARE SUPPORT is internal communications only. I asked for an email of the calls in and tangible evidence as a customer that I have been run into circle after circle being told they will correct this, or they will escalate this and then nothing happens. No call back to you as a customer that we are resolving, it is being resolved, or when they say you must wait 48hrs for the resolve, no confirmation call or email that they have resolved your issue you'ved call in for 6 times about. Terrible Customer Service Process.
