Disregard reviews from others who didn't read that the gold & black case is ONLY available for Nintendo Switch and gave 1 star reviews. I'm happy I got a regular case for the Series X and was on sale for Black Friday because they were sold out when I wanted to get one for someone else. If you were a child in the 70's like myself, this will be a good title for your collection. I do own the previously released the 3 volumes of Atari Flashback which focused on the 2600 and arcades. This covers other Atari consoles as well and looking forward to the interviews and have the updates games.

A really well-thought-out look back at 50 years of gaming. It's not just a compilation of Atari games, it's an interactive, museum-like experience where you get videos, photos and text contextualizing the importance of each games. A really great experience for video game buffs and historians.

For those with memories of these classic games, or folks who just want a window into the history of gaming, I couldn't recommend Atari 50 enough. It pairs the games with videos and other details, making it as much of a museum as a collection.

Easily one of, if not the, best game collections ever made. The amount of interviews, scans, documents and videos about Atari is incredible. You can tell the makers of this had a passion for Atari’s History and if you grew up with Atari or have an interest in video game history, this is a must buy.

As a gamer since the 1980s, the first system I ever played was a 2600 and the first system I ever owned was a 7800, the collection from Atari is perfect for me. First, the games; this is a great selection of games, but Atari has put out other collections of great games. Why is this one different? This collection is full of arcade and 2600 games, but those have been released before. This collection also has a good amount of 5200 and 7800 games, which have not been released near as much by Atari. The real jewel on the game side though, is the Atari 8-bit computer, Lynx, and Jaguar games found in this collection. The other part of this collection is the extras, which might be just as important as the games here. Atari and Digital Eclipse have included tons of information, advertisements, and interviews for you to pore over. Highly recommended.

This game is great. I started gaming during the Atari era. Its been fun nostalgically playing some of these games. There were several that i completely forgot about. I think this is definitely the better choice than buying the Atari VCS system for $300. I also enjoyed the historical information that is included. I liked seeing some of the brainstorming documents and concept drawings. It really makes you appreciate how far gaming has evolved. I recommend this game.

This Atari 50th Anniversary is jam pack with games. Enjoy several Atari Lynx and Jaguar games as well as other Atari system. If you want to learn about the history of video games or Atari, I highly recommend buying the Atari 50th Anniversary.

I love the old classic games, but there are more on the disk if you complete some tasks and you get suped up classic games.

This collection is fun and has games that we haven’t seen for years. Foodfight is my favorite. The only thing that is an issue is the controls. I wish there was a track ball controller specially for the Xbox for games like centipede, crystal castle.

What a great compilation. Not only are you getting Atari games from all eras of Atari platforms, but you’re also learning history, interviews and other items and such related to the games.
