For the money I think it would be hard to beat the sound quality of this system. We just purchased a second one for the kitchen. The first one we've had since Christmas 2014. The tuning is a little quirky in how it operates, but the reception is excellent. This has very nice sound for the size. I connected to bluetooth without any problems at all. I would definitely recommend this system.

Very pleased with my purchase of the Insignia - 50W Bluetooth CD Compact Shelf System. Size and sound are terrific for the price and it has all the modern media choices including USB input, Bluetooth, AUX input, plus CD Player and FM tuner. Remote has many functional features. The only drawback for me would be to have included an AM tuner, though with my phone's radio app via Bluetooth I can tune in just about any station in the world. This is perfect for my home office. Though very lightweight, It is not meant to be a "portable," so if you need something to tote around I'd look at other options.

I was looking for a small stereo for my apartment and this one was a great price and sounds pretty good I love the blue tooth and it's so easy to setup I would definitely recommend to anyone

I was looking for a replacement CD player - nothing elaborate. This system fit the bill. It is very compact and provides a nice quality sound. Although I didn't necessarily need it, it also includes an FM radio. The only very minor drawback is that it only holds one CD. Overall, I'm pleased and it was relatively inexpensive, too.

This works great. I use it for surround sound in my entertainment center for my TV, XBOX, and DVD player, and i can even sit comfortably on my couch and play my iPhone music through the bluetooth feature. Very easy to connect everything. Great deal!

I use it in an auto repair shop. Works very well and plenty loud enough to here through the whole place. The bass is great although it does get a bit distorted at higher volumes. The Bluetooth works well, but I have to make my phone reconnect to it after turning the unit off for the day. Comes with an antenna, but I got a better one for it.

I bought this for the size, the inputs (CD in many formats, USB, Bluetooth) and FM. The sound is fine and I like the remote. One minor miss is that the CD display alternates between time and track number. Track number could have been displayed separately instead of the silly twirling disk animation.

Purchased for my friend who does not have a stereo but wanted a CD player to play his CDs. For the price, it is a great compact system.. Easy to set up and sound is very good. He has it in his bedroom and it is perfect. If sound is turned up, music can be heard in kitchen and living room. Also comes with a remote which is an added perk.

Used as intended: A small room stereo that provides good sound from different sources and requires very little interaction. Bluetooth stereo, USB, AM/FM tuner and CD player in compact system that works. Great.

Great basic stereo. Bluetooth set up easy. After about 100 ft connection becomes a some distorted. Like my stereo sound really loud. Would have preferred that music played louder, but quality clear and great.

Does nice job for a small unit - its exactly what you expect. Loud enough to enjoy when working out on treadmill -but will not blow your ears off. That's ok, I want to still have my hearing when I'm old!

I purchased this system and did not know what to expect. I wanted something small and affordable for my office. What a got was small and affordable with GREAT SOUND!!! This is a bargain at the price that I paid.

I bought this for my bedroom and it has much better sound than I expected. Not tinny at all. It receives FM radio better than my more expensive living room receiver. Add in the Bluetooth, and you can't beat it for the price (I got it on sale for $70).

I was looking for a stereo for work. This is a really nice mini stereo for the price. Was amazed it had Bluetooth at this price point. Surprisingly good sound. Nice bass. Again, I was surprised at how nice this system was at this price.

This Insignia Bluetooth Stereo is a great buy and sounds really good for the price! It has the cd player and radio which I still enjoy, and my friends and I keep fighting for the bluetooth control, lol...

This Insignia shelf system is perfect for us. The tones are very good for such a compact product. The USB port definitely comes in handy. It is very easy to operate...which is a REAL POSITIVE!

For a compact device, it has good sound quality & easy to use. Has the latest technology compatibility for USB, mp3, Bluetooth etc. Would recommend & purchase again if need be.

I bought this stereo for my 16 year old daughter's bithday. In the past when I looked for personal stereos all I found were "in your face" Boom Boxes, or "tacky" looking bookshelf systems. I always wondered why they didn't make a system like my vehicle stereo. Everything you need in a small space with great sound quality. When I clicked on this product from Insignia I thought "they finally did it". It has all the features you want. Am-FM, CD Player, Bluetooth, USB, Aux Input. My kids set it up while I was at work and had the Bluetooth going in minutes. I love music and have an extensive CD collection, so I can appreciate quality sound. This stereo has it! I was totally impressed! Love It!

this product has good sound and features .one of the few on the market and the only one at this pricepoint .the controls take getting used to (adding and removing pre sets)

Wanted a nice little sound system for our living room. We were using vintage multi use players but they always broke. This one has a lot of great features in a little box. Loud enough for us. Liked that it had an Aux plug in the back. Have a Sony turntable hooked up and it plays just fine. Remote works fine. Bluetooth hooked up just fine. Can't beat the price, and with Best Buy's affordable extended warranty you can't lose.
