I bought this system for my garage and it's great, you can't beat it for the price! ! I love the Bluetooth functionality and the sound is good, it suits my needs. If you're looking for a small shelf system for an audiophile, this probably will not be the best choice for you though.

This little stereo is perfect for an apartment. It has great sound (especially when played on the louder side) and can be played via various methods. I especially love the blue tooth feature. I received this item in only TWO days! This was a great and welcome surprise. I LOVE IT!

This shelf-sized unit is perfect for my weight room. It's actually loud enough to use for backyard parties. And the Bluetooth and CD allow for multiple music options.

This stereo is great!!!!! It is very compact and looks nice it's not an eyesore on your shelf. The only thing I would change about it is that it doesn't have Am radio . But overall it is a great Device and after the cyber Monday deal I got I feel like it was a steal!

This unit sounds pretty good, No it's not top of the line, but it's acceptable. We got it to use bluetooth with our iPhones, and setup is fairly easy. Features are few, but it fills the room with sound at about 75% volume.

For a great price, you can fill your room, office, etc with your favorite tunes, whether streaming music, playlists off your phone, or CD. An awesome deal for the price, and way better than a single bluetooth speaker selling for lots more than this system!

This is priced well and performs well for secondary room, in my case kids bedroom. connects to Bluetooth devices and seems to work real well

My wife and I bought this shelf unit for our 11 year old daughter. It was easy to set up and it sounds great. The bluetooth works perfectly and we loaded a USB with music that works great as well. It has really good sound and you can't beat the price.

Sound is good. Simple to use. A little slow to load. Wish it had capacity for more CDs but I knew it was just one CD before I bought it. Overall I'm happy and it suits my biggest needs. I'd recommend it to a friend.

Using this system in my bedroom for pc laptop audio thru the aux port, and for phone or tablet with bluetooth. Sound quality is decent. My only big complaint is the included FM antenna, which did not work well.

So this stereo has Bluetooth capabilities and works great. Easy to set up and sounds great. Only downside is that if you're out in the boon-docks you will need to get creative and extend the antennae as it doesn't pick up stations so well.

Perfect for our needs....basement. Great sound range and easy set-up combined to make this a great buy.

Pros: Nice compact unit, decent price, sound quality pretty good. I purchased for use in my garage, which it works well for. A couple cons: tuning to radio stations is a bit of a pain, need to preset stations for sure. Also when changing tracks in CD mode the unit does not display the track number, which makes no sense.

I purchased this stereo for use in my garage to replace a 20+ year old boom box. It is a great little unit for the price, packed with features, and I believe it to be a solid value. After using it for about a month, I have found a couple of minor things to nit-pick, but I do not find these big enough issues to dissuade the purchase of this unit. 1. I wish it was a bit louder since the garage is a pretty large space to project into. 2. I have it on a shelf that does get a lot of direct natural light, and it becomes really hard to see the digital display. It would be nice if it had a variable display that allowed dimming and brightening as needed. All-in-all I am pleased with the performance of this system and would definitely recommend it.

Excellent sound. Nice features. The only bad thing is that when using a pendrive with mp3s theres no random option...so if thats your thing, look for a different one, other than that this system is amazing.

Best sound I have ever heard on any mini stereo I have ever owned. Heavy full spectrum speakers with delightful base response. CD, FM and Bluetooth work flawlessly. Hope they never stop making it. For quality worth over twice the price

The Compact Insignia CD & Bluetooth Shelf System is a good buy at its regular price of a little over $100, and is an excellent buy for the $70 I was able to purchase it for as a Deal-of -the-Day item. Everything on it has worked flawlessly for the few months I have owned it. Sound is very good for what it is, which is a bargain shelf system. Easy to link with Bluetooth with no signal dropping so far. I did replace the speakers with a set of bigger and older bookshelf speakers that I have and it did improve the sound (more bass). Well worth the price.

This small, but powerful bookshelf system, works like a charm. Great value, packed into a compact stereo unit. If you have the need to blast music in an averaged sized room, like a man-cave or bedroom, this is the unit to buy.

I needed to find a simple bookshelf system with CD player and FM tuner. I did not need or want an iphone dock and I wanted something that looks good and sounds good. It was not an easy task to find something that did not look cheap and sound cheap at a price point I could afford. Then I found this one. So far I am happy with the product.

I purchased this primarily to use for ambient music in our meditation room, and was drawn to the price-point/features; primarily Bluetooth. In this price range, I had low expectations for overall sound quality (not that I needed anything high-powered for my application), but was pleasantly surprised that it produces a very nice, well-balanced delivery of tones across the spectrum. Keep in mind, it is not a hard-hitter, so if you're looking to fill a large room with booming tunes, this probably won't work for you. But for a smaller room, it's perfect.
