Easy to install and operate after you get used to it. Camera monitor operation is quick and clear when placed in reverse. Does have an occasional problem with not booting up but so far I'm pleased with the operation. Music is both louder and much clearer than my stock 2006 radio and I would recommend to a friend

Easy to use especially with apple car play. Tons of options and functions. Allows you to easily use all aspects of your phone (music, apps, podcasts, phone, text, maps, etc) without having to look down at your phone. The microphone allows you to text, call, navigate, Siri using only your voice.

I got this radio because I wanted to upgrade the system in my 2008 vehicle. The unit has Apple Car Play, which means I can connect my phone to the unit and use my Apple Music, Spotify, Maps, and other apps on the car system. Plus, it allows me to use my Sirius XM account and play old school CDs too. The CDs were a must and a big reason why I got this unit versus something else. The controls are fairly easy to use although sometimes switching between modes/apps is not as intuitive as I would like, and I have yet to find a way to scan through Sirius stations like the old factory installed unit could do. Overall this is an great upgrade in terms of capability and options.

I’m a very big fan of Pioneer head units, this unit is very easy to set up and it has a lot of features but the apple car play is absolutely the best and as a bonus the unit plays dvd’s, my daughter will truly love that.

I wanted a stereo with CD that has an easy user interface, and I find this one to be pretty good. Display has the appropriate brightness on automatic, good in daylight, not too bright at night. Easy to navigate to different apps while driving, the only problem is if you accidently turn off the automatic brightness, you cannot see the display in sunlight, cannot fix it while driving. Good sound, and good graphic equalizer. I don't have fancy speakers (premium Toyota 2005 for what that is worth) and bass is good. Max volume is a little low, but at least I won't blow out my speakers. I have Android, it interfaces with my music really well, good hands free phone calls, but I have not figured out how to have it read or let me dictate texts, or if even will (might need Apple for that), but at least it dings when a text comes in, Had it for over a month, and am very happy so far. Best Buy free installation was great!

We love this new radio and its capabilities are exceptional. We would have appreciated instructions for programming it, yet love the ability for iPod, iPhones, and Xmas radio. We took a 1700 mile trip and the radio was on all the time playing our favorites.

Great radio. Increased my sound quality in my car and is easy to use with the provided USB port to connect to iPhone for Apple car play. Had Best Buy install and they did an excellent job.

Always have had pioneer head units. This is a super nice unit for the price point. Highly recommend this unit for anyone on a budget. Have 3 other pioneer radios and they are all excellent.

This is the second unit that I have bought, but I am not as happy as I was with my 1st one,(ABH1330NEX) This unit (AVH1550NEX) has an analog tuner, and it will not allow to display the album being played or a nice icon for the station, when the album is not available, it just shows a generic icon with an analog AM/FM radio dial. it will show if you are using Pandora. Aside from that, it is a great unit, easy installation, and programing, so I would definitely recommend it.

Easy to use, able to connect my phone through Bluetooth. Able to listen to Pandora and Spotify from my phone. Haven't been able to check anything else out so far.

Upgraded my single din to double din, huge improvement, clear and crisp sound, lots of adjustments, user friendly. The remote is huge, unable to change EQ settings and a few more other buttons on the remote.

We like it. Good quality. No static. Blue tooth works. Phone calls clear. Love the dimmer setting for night driving. Clear screen. Great screen layout.

Install was on time and well done. Stereo was exactly what features I was looking for and intergraded nicely with my existing features such as the backup camera.

Awesome Display. Brought my daughters entertainment system to the present. Love that it has a nice screen and Apple CarPlay with Bluethooth.
