This TV has a great picture, a decent selection of apps, and some good pre-calibrated settings. A little gripe is that you can't turn off the pop-up info banner. The picture really is phenomenal. I watched Gravity in a dark room and couldn't tell where the TV ended in the dark scenes. Colors are very vibrant and the Dolby Vision is a wonderful feature.

It was easy to set up with my wireless internet and since I've purchased it I've experienced no problems or a loss of usable apps. I have Disney +, Hulu, Youtube, Netflix, and others and they all run fine! The screen also works great for my counsel games. All in all, it was a smart purchase when I got it on sale.

Fine TV but I got 2 defective ones first

It was unbelievable but after carting this 65" TV home, unboxing it, setting it up, and going through the software updating process the remote would not control the TV properly. I brought the remote back to the store and found it worked fine so the problem was the remote sensor on the TV. So I needed to bring the set back to be replaced which I did. Was I surprised to get ANOTHER new set home and find the exact same problem! Back to the store again for a third TV. This one works fine. Read all the reviews and I am very pleased with it's performance, that's why I went through the trouble of getting 3 TV's to find the good one. I have to give props to Best Buy, they took care of me 100% without any problems. I am sure they must have thought I did not know what I was doing, but I do know how to set up a TV. They were helpful and supportive and had no problem taking back both defective sets and doing whatever I needed to make me satisfied. They were willing to give me my money back or have me buy another brand set too. I am glad I got set #3 because it is great. I love that I had paired it with Alexa and can turn it on and off with a voice command.

Picture is great for movies and gaming. The remote could have been better quality but it works. The SmartCast is like hit or miss. I find it more convenient than like Roku but Roku is easier to manage and not crash. Reasonable price and nice size for the right space. Thin bezel and 4 hdmi’s also great.

i have been a vizio buyer since they first came out. i have many t.v.s so this is not an idle boast. i recently purchased a vizio p series tv for my room and bought this one for our patio. while the p series is the best this m series is not far behind. it has nice bright color and a excellent picture. now there are difference between the p series and the m series but if money is an consideration than dollar for dollar you can not go wrong with the m series. it is a perfect combo of good price and good picture.

Great picture quality and HDR for the price as I got this as an open box item for well below the sticker price. Recently upgraded to and OLED TV otherwise the tv is awesome. Would recommend pairing with a Roku or Apple TV since app support isn't very good with Vizio.

This TV has great sound, color, and resolution - to me these are the 3 most important features. I walked in thinking I was going to have to spend thousands for a great quality TV and walked out under $1000 for a great deal! Best Buy associates were super helpful as well!

This replaced a 55" M series that is 2 years old and being moved into the computer room to be my computer monitor. I didn't expect to really notice a difference because a TV is a TV right? Boy was I wrong! Just the brightness and color of this is cool! It was a great price and see other TV's the same size or smaller that are twice the price just to get the same quality of picture. I'd highly recommend the M-Series Quantum to anyone. I could only imagine what the P-Series is like if this one is this good!

It's not an LG OLED or a Samsung Quantum Dot, but for the price point you just cannot beat this TV. We purchased this for my mom. I appreciated how easy it was to set up -- compared with our LG, setup was a breeze. I like the remote. The various online reviews seem to indicate that it's too basic, but I prefer it to the complicated ones from other manufacturers. That said, my mom uses it with a Comcast box, and the Comcast voice remote controls this TV. Picture quality is solid, as is sound. Neither is going to win "best overall," but again, at the price point it is definitely "best in class." We are not using any of the smart features. We didn't connect the TV to the Internet (either by Wifi or hardwired). At first I thought this might be an issue in the usability of the TV, but it's not at all. You just use it like a regular "dumb" TV (which I think most people really want, particularly if they're using a cable box, Roku, Apple TV, Firestick, etc., to do streaming).

UI is slow and SmartCast unstable

I've had this TV for almost a year. What you get for the price is not necessarily worth it in the end. Yes, the screen is big. Yes, the picture is really great while calibrating only enhances it further. The main downsides is slow moving pictures stutter and is distracting, even when trying remedies. The UI of SmartCast, when it works, is very slow to respond. SmartCast itself has many problems that are fatal to the entire application. It is web based and will not work without internet or when whatever server that hosts SmartCast has problems. This will cripple the entire experience and keep me from using any apps that don't have a special button on the remote. Luckily I got it during Cyber Monday, though it is still not worth it.

I have Appreciate Vizio Tvs for the fact they have great picture and they last forever. I got home delivery and the drivers brought the tv up to my apartment for me. I inboxed it and hooked it up and it looks great. Very happy and the price is very competitive for TVs at that prices with uhd 4K. The smart tv section of the tv has all the apps you need added already and comes with watch free tv as well with lots of great shows and movies. Highly recommend this product.

Our tv went out a week before super bowl and we just got this Vizio tv. The picture quality is good and I'm surprised it had HDR and Dolby Vision. Our Samsung soundbar kept disconnecting from the tv so we had to use more than remote.

Tv has great picture you just have to fine tune it. I had this tv for 11 months and it worked great until they hooked up the ps4 to it now the remote only turns the tv off and on. I can’t even change the input. Will be calling geek squad.

This was on sale for an excellent price, good screen size, excellent colors, and most inputs work great. I think this is a great value for a Qled/Quantum Dot TV, possibly the best for the money. I’ve had Vizos in the past without issue however, the only problem is if you use this as a computer monitor and set the input to PC, the TV restarts randomly. It’s possible it’s limited to mine but if you use game mode and set your graphics card to output Chroma 4:4:4 instead of RGB it works perfectly fine. There’s reports of PC RGB mode having the same issue and personally I think it’s potentially an issue for more TVs most people just don’t use that function. So for TV and gaming console use only this TV is great, I just don’t appreciate advertising a feature that doesn’t appear to work preoperly. Overall an very good buy otherwise.

Picture quality was good. The 4K QLED really shines. The main problem is Vizio's software. It is often sluggish, and sometimes apps take some time to respond. But for $590, this was a bargain in 2020. We bought it to use it for one year while we lived in a tiny apartment. We sold it for $350 when we moved out. Basically we were "renting" it for $20/month. If they got a more snappy software so that you can navigate through the various apps more quickly with fewer glitches, then I would highly recommend this product. As is, I recommend it only as a budget TV.

The TV was relatively easy to set up. I do wish they made the HDMI slots more accessible. I am using fairly heavy duty cables and it’s not all the slots allow for the cable to sly without a bit of a bend. The 4 slots are appreciated, however. It has proprietary “smartcast” software, amazon or Roku would’ve preferred, but I knew what I was getting. All in all, not a bad interface. The picture quality is good and I’m happy with it. The sound quality is rather poor and the volume is pretty low. When it’s turned up it has a tin quality to it. I recommend a sound bar or other audio upgrade. I put the optical audio out through a receiver and am happy with that.

Highly rated on rtings. Purchased open-box for half the price of new. Has been outstanding. Outstanding picture, solid audio with built-in speakers (just purchased a Vizio soundbar and haven't set up yet.) Yes, the Smartcast functionality is slow (and no HBO or SlingTV, no way to add), but is still great, as I added a Roku stick to get access to both of those apps.
