It has good features for its price point and decent speakers for being an HTIB. My only complaint is the lack of connections ( e.g. HDMI, IPod or USB port) in the front of the receiver.

Adequate for a smaller living room

Our great room is large with 14 foot ceilings and laminate floors so echo is an issue. That said, one I upgraded the speakers, the sound was quite good and the dialogue in movies was discernable. I might recommend for a smaller, carpeted room.
