I purchased this home theatre system to go with my Samsung 4K tv and DVDs player. This was after trying 2 different sound bars and a Samsung home theatre. This Yamaha system works fully with my Samsung tv using the ARC connection. Sound is incredible with great sub woofer. I can't be happier with the improvement in movie enjoyment. Nice price also.

This system is great for our living room. The speakers have a quality look and the receiver allows us to connect all of our gaming system.

The stereo features 5 speakers, a subwoofer, and a receiver. The receiver has an hdmi output and 4 hdmi inputs. We used this receiver with our projector + WiiU and Roku. The sound and video are amazing for the price. I did not want to deal with the hassle of picking out speakers and a receiver separately so this was a great solution.

The quality of sound from this simple surround is amazing!! Our dog still barks if a dog is barking on the television!!

Returned Samsung sound bar due to lack of sound I wanted. This system is the best I ever had. Bass, clarity and overall performance deserves 5-star rating. Definitely complements my other components. Blu-Ray movies & music are awesome with this system as well as regular TV viewing. Would recommend to anyone wanting an awesome sound system.

The system sounds good the only problem I have is the woofer it does not sound .good they should upgrade the woofer to a better one .

This is a decent entry level system. The speakers sound good and there is good bass from the sub. The receiver is on the lower end but it does generate good sound at the price point. It is definitely better then the other systems in the price range in that it is a receiver and speakers compared to a blue ray system with proprietary connections. Overall it is a good buy for the sound quality and cost.

We love this theater system. We have had it for a year now, and we have had no problem. Great sound quality.

If you're looking for a great home theatre system and are on a budget, this one should be considered. Unbelievable sound!!

I'm a Yamaha amp/receiver fan and needed a replacement for a Panasonic home theatre system where the main unit failed (after 6 years). I'm pleased with the Yamaha amp - less so with the speaker quality - adequate but not outstanding. I likely should not expect more for what I paid. Overall an adequate home theatre sound system - but it doesn't integrate well with other non-Yamaha components (so requires more remotes to operate) and the sound quality is OK but certainly not audiophile quality.

Great quality of sound and it worth of every dollar, best experience of Dolby sound

The system has pretty decent sound and it fit all my components. My main issue with the system is that it takes quite a long time to find the correct input and send the signal to my projector. It can take as long as 10 minutes to find the input and for the sound to come through and the picture to show up. I don't know if the same problem would occur with a TV but with a projector, it's a major issue.

Awesome system, had a chance to use is for a few months. Even watched the 2017 super bowl on it and i love it. Its loud and powerful, my favorite feature is that i can cut off the subwoffer when im watching local news or tv shows. Very highly recommend for the price. Have recommended to several friends.

The surround system came with everything you need to set it up including speaker wires. The only thing you need is HDMI cables for your accessories. It sounds great and easy to adjust settings to your liking. Excellent product for the price.

After reading the reviews for the Yamaha surround system I was feeling good with my decision. But... Once they system was set up I was blown away with the sound and easy of use. Still need to connect the back speakers but even without them the system sounds terrific. I would recommend this system.
