I always add uv lenses to my main lens to protect them from scratches and the occasional dings. I have been doing this for the last 40 years and had many scratches on the uv lens but never on the main lens. It is worth a few bucks to save your lenses.

This UV lens is great... Protects your lens from scratches and damage

I sort of inherited an older DSLR with two lenses and one of them had a protective clear filter on the front and the other didn't. So while I was at Best Buy I tried to pick up a UV filter for the front of the lens that didn't have one. I thought I remembered the filter size and got a 67mm one. $10 is a reasonable price for one this size. When I got home, I discovered that it was the wrong lens I was thinking of, and I really needed a 58mm. I went back and was hoping to do an exchange, but my Best Buy was out of that size, so I had to do a return. I wound up getting one off eBay.

Great for protecting lenses; inexpensive. It took me a few tries to figure out how to attach the lens (the step down ring needs to be unscrewed to install).

This lens filter is a great price compared to having to replace an expensive camera lens. It is easy to remove and clean and cheap enough to replace in case it is scratched during outdoor adventure shooting.

I purchased this filter for my boyfriend, after a friend lost his lens filter. I was surprised to find a great deal for great filters. all the other filters we saw at other stores were alot more! I thought for price they were gonna be cheap, but they are actually great quality.

Using this UV filter or a skylight filter protects your expensive lens from scratches without degrading image quality. For less than $10, this filter is an incredible value!

The Rocketfish 67mm UV Filter is a great value. It is good insurance for protecting an expensive lens.

For the cheap price you can't go wrong if you want a protective filter not so much difference with it comes to the UV

Good inexpensive filter protects the lense and does not diminish the optics. Don't spend twice as much for manufacturers version.

Recently purchased a new camera and needed to find a good protector to protect the lens. This one was highly recommended by friends and family and was definitely worth the money to purchase. The lens protector does not effect the quality of the pictures being taken and can save you thousands of dollars if you ever accidently scratch your camera's lens. Best thing about the product is that if you do happen to scratch the lens, you can always replace the protector.

I bought this filter to protect a lens in dirty shooting conditions. That's what it does. I don't know about it's "UV filtering" capabilities, but that is not why I bought is so I am not really concerned with that aspect. It is cheap lens protection and it works fine for that purpose.

I purchased the Rocketfish 67mm UV filter on a closeout sale. I was rather pleased with the performance of the filter. A great filter at a bargain price.
