I did quite a bit of research (both speaking with in store techs as well as reading and watching online written and video reviews respectively) before purchasing this product.The techs in the store had very limited knowledge about the capability of this product brand. Others had no knowledge that this was a product carried by BestBuy. Myself, I had never heard of it previous to when I started my research. I have not had the chance to watch any intense audio movies, like Transformers, to become fully aware of the audio delivery of the speakers. PROS: So far has great depth and dimension to the sound quality Cables are color coded for each input connector Has fair amount of cable length, which should be adequate fro about 80% of the people who would purchase this. Items are properly padded in packaging box Good installation guide CONS: Expensive ($400+) with taxes Cables are very flimsy and cable wires provided are of (was a pain to get them inserted into the connectors) substandard quality Item is A DO NOT SHIP PRODUCT::comes in an oversize box that would only fit in a truck or SUV.. Items (more so the sub-woofer) takes up a fare amount of floor space. So if you are living in a town house or condo; this may not be for you depending on your availability of space Item was 3 days late for scheduled delivery: had no delivery update or change status from Bestbuy, about the reason for this. No rubber studs or non-skid supports for the sub-woofer and two(2) rear flor speakers.

This speaker system comes with every thing you need except the receiver. For the price you can't beat the sound quality and appearance of these speakers. There are better speakers out there but you will pay a lot more and be hard pressed to tell a significant difference unless you are an audiophile. To sum up, if you are looking for a 7.1 speaker system that sounds and looks great, and you are on a budget, this is a no brainer. You will not be disappointed.

We had a really good speaker set-up when we bought a New Oknyo TX NR 757 Receiver. After we had everything working well, Best Buy advertised a MATCHING SPEAKER SET. I read all the reviews, called the company for conformation, (We had the old style, BIG SPEAKERS, that were doing really well. We decided to trust the speakers made by the same company that made the receiver. ( Thtes are the new style, Small speakers, with a really great sub.). Set up was easy, Room has more usable space and the sound is MUCH BETTER. All posiives for us. So far, no problems or regrets.

I went to my local store and priced comparable non bundled units, and the price difference was huge. I bought these speakers to go along with a new projector I bought and the response to the speakers has been hugely positive.

It was simple to set up. The only negative is the wires were too short, but I had a large spool of copper speaker wire and put it to good use. Love the subwoofer.

Paired with a mid-high range Denon receiver and haven't begged for louder experiences. Good buy.

Great sound for price. Works exceptionally well with my Yamaha Yamaha - 7.2-Ch. 4K Ultra HD A/V Home Theater Receiver.

Thought it was a good price for the speaker package. I needed 7 speakers and it was the best deal for the money I found

Best 7.1 speaker system for a medium sized room with a good sub.

Previous system was an onkyo and I was happy with it so stuck with the brand. Frequencies are clean and great range. The sub is a room rumbler, love it. Team it with the right receiver and you're set.

decent sound for the price. I used a different sub than the one that came with it. the sub enclosure that comes with it is HUGE!

I only gave it a 4 star because we are installing walls in our basement; so, we haven't had the chance to get the full impact. Our technician are pairing the surround sound with our YAMAHA NS-ICS600 ceiling speakers. Thus far it sounds great.

My new speakers look good and sound marvelous. I have no problems listening to crisp clear sound regardless of the sound level I am pushing through them, there are times my windows are vibrating. For the money spent, you can't beat the quality. Onkyo also offered Atoms speakers that even adding them, it compliments the visuals of the speaker placement.

The system is overpriced some places. I think for the money this system sound really good. I have it hooked up to a enkyo amp and purchased an additional subwoofer.

I am pleased with the sound, but be careful on connecting the speakers, the wires are very thin and have a hard time catching, when connecting to speakers and receiver

sounds great except I needed to return my sony receiver to best buy for repairs so cannot use my system right now :-(

I've been using this just for music has a lot of sound without distortion I'm going to be hooking up my TV shortly I'm certain that I wont be disappointed

This is a great all around system and i would've given it 5 stars but I'm having trouble playing my cable box thru all the speakers. It might be the cable box output but I'm not exactly sure
