Real Mine craft + zombies !!

I currently play the PC version and absolutely love it. Got this as a gift for a family member. If you've played mine craft this is twice as better. You start off with nothing but your two hands to fend for yourself. You mine rock, grass and wood from trees to build your first stone axe and from there you build your own base or find a pre fab already made from a survivor back in the day. Not so much of a story but you find out more in the world etc. also has some RPG elements in the fact that you level up certain skills and using those skills levels them up faster and doing so ranks up your level (similar to skyrim) every 7 days a big horde of zombies come out and attack your base so playing multiplayer helps you survive longer. I've heard the console version hasn't done so well since they don't get updates as fast as PC does since they have to go though Microsoft and Sony to push them out via approval process and whatnot. They should have the same PC update out on consoles before Christmas so don't let the low scores scare you away!

This is all I've been playing since release!

7 Days to Die is the kind of game I've been waiting for! I've been wanting a multiplayer/survival game for quite some time to play with my friends and this one is great! The multiplayer is fun and can be played cooperatively or competitively. It is still a little buggy and has crashed on me a few times. I hope the developers do keep enhancing this game as they have a lot going on in it I would hate to see it abandoned.

    Amazing Game!!!!!

Keep in mind, my review is based on the PC version, but if the port is anything like it...you will LOVE the game. While not a perfect description, think The Walking Dead meets Minecraft. Great graphics, amazing gameplay...extensive crafting system, quests, multiplayer support... developers that care and love the game... (P.S. Watch out for the dogs...they now run faster...and are tougher...and you can not outrun them ;) ...and I wont even comment on the bears) Zombies all over....and finally, you better be ready in your base on that 7th day....because they WILL be coming for YOU!....

I purchased this game back in 2016 and have continue to play it since. I recently purchased this copy for my niece so we can play together on Xbox live. I know that those of us who play on console are envious of our PC brethren and their updates for the game. I recently read a thread from the Devs who promise updates to console soon. If you enjoy sandbox survival games and zombies this is honestly a must have. The game is buggy at times but worth putting up with. There are endless possibilities to be creative with your base and kill off a few zombies while your at. You have the option to play with a bunch of zombies roaming around at various speeds and what times a day they are more active. I found that option to be great for my younger niece who loves yet is terrified of zombies. There are many mixed reviews for the game so why not give it a try and see for yourself.

Christmas gift for my son, but I have also spend some time playing. I am not much for the long story line games, so the shooter side of this game is great.

If you enjoy Terraria, or Minecraft you will enjoy this game. There is a lot to explore and do in this game including learning 'recipes' to build new things as you progress and survive longer. The only downside I have seen so far is some difficulty with controls in placing, digging, and building.

    7 days to die

Hard to get started in this game. Figuring out the controls and menu options takes time. Once you get past that the game is fun. Reinforce your house, stock up on food & supplies, and kill zombies. Craft all kinds of things. Throw down your sleeping bag and add your friends.

7 days to Die is like an adult version of minecraft!! It does not have a story or specific goals . It is simply survival in an apocalyptic backround. All around good game play ! It has its glitches from time to time but mostly it runs well ! My kids love it since we all play together!

My wife and I love playing this game together. We enjoy the Minecraft style of gather resources and building structures. The game lags a bit here and there, but we don't consider that a major flaw. The map is large, and there is plenty of exploration to do. Overall, the game offers plenty of game time and plenty of fun. Check this game out!!

Resembles minecraft in respect to the building aspect with a hint of zombie danger. Graphics and online connections could be better but not a dealbreaker for me. Overall quite satisfied

    Minecraft with Zombies

This is a good game. It doesn't have the best graphics, but neither does Minecraft. This is more about the zombies and getting prepared for the 7th day. I like all the options for rules in the game. It makes it very customize-able.

My 14-year-old loves this game because you get to be in survival mode or create mode, he enjoys building and fighting zombies with his sister on multiplayer. They like the fact that they get spooked playing.

Ok this is a port of a PC game from 2013. Here's the problem. It is still in the alpha build. Which is fine when you are on a PC but not a console. I bought this game with the expectation it would be a playable game when released. I was -$26.00 wrong. They didn't fix the graphics, in anyway what so ever. They were poor 2013 standards. So they are really really dated. But graphics aren't everything. It's the bugs that kill this game. They didn't fix all the bugs. And the range from minor to game breaking - The Xbox version comes broken. You can't even start the game. -There is a work around but you should have to use a work around to start a retail game. And now 3 days later there is a patch. But what's going to happen a year from now when Microsoft no longer has this game's patches on the server. Some of the minor bugs are game freezing and frame dropping. Hit detection is abysmal. You put down a trap and without moving all the sudden you are being hit by it. Same goes for attack zombies. You can't hit the ones on the ground at all. The zombies standing, you have to be close enough to swing your arms through. But when they swing at you. Well you can't be far enough away and not not be hit. This is just a few of the bugs. There are a ton more but you don't need a 2 page review. All I can say is. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS.

Graphics and sound are great. Controls are a bit glitchy. The game boots you randomly but it's still a great game for the price.

I like the crafting in the game slot. Very detailed and you can make almost anything. The problem I have with the game is the graphics are sub par, controls are clunky and doesn't really give you an idea of how to advance through the game. Neverless, it is a fun game and extra enjoyable with a couch buddy.

This game obviously needs improvements (as it's still in beta I believe), but despite that, it is still a lot of fun to play, especially with friends.
