Seeing as how the official SNES controller for Switch is always sold out on Nintendo's website, this is the next best thing, maybe even a bit better with the inclusion of the two sticks and trigger buttons. It also works on your phone, if you're into that kinda thing. Just remember to update the firmware to make sure everything is up to date!

I love using this to play SNES games on my switch. It's also very convenient that it can connect to pretty much anything else for other retro games you have saved on other platforms. Highly recommend!

Bought use with an NVidia Shield. great unit!

It connected without any problem whatsoever, and although I haven't had it that long this unit enables multiplayer (we are now playing 3-at-once Mario Kart and are having a blast). BestBuy has these on sale too - and even less if you can score an open-box near you. Highly recommended!

Great pad for the switch!

Love the classic SNES style. Buttons are larger than switch joycon buttons and feel great. Triggers are responsive. Vibration feels similar to joycon’s. I use this pad for playing Hades and Stardew Valley on switch and it handles nicely for both styles of games.
