A beautiful masterpiece
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The lyrics on this whole album are the best I've ever come across from a band. Every song is so easy to relate to and fall in love with. Singing along as loud as you can to this record feels like therapy for the soul. Do yourself a favor and find the lyrics online somewhere and read along for the first few times you take a listen. Every track will leave a lasting impression. Very haunting and very unique to the fullest. Buy this. You will be so unbelievably glad that you did.

Disaster made beautiful
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.30 Seconds To Mars once again redefine modern alternative music with their sophomore album. Most noticable differences from the debut to 'ABL' are the lack of electronic overtones (they're still there, just pushed backwards) and the quality of vocals has improved (the distortion effects are gone). Don't let the fact that everyone loves them now turn you off of 30STM, they're still the same band that gave us "Capricorn" and "Edge Of The Earth" in 2002.

Awesome CD, blows first album out of the water

"A Beautiful Lie" is one of those albums. Probably one of the best CD's I've ever heard from a band! A+++
