I had seen this before but forgot about how crude it was. Best viewed out of ear shot of the kids.

If you think that this is just another western movie take-off, think again. Anything with Seth MacFarlane will probably not be the run of the mill type entertainment. We purchased this Blu-ray version after watching a chopped up version (with commercials) on one of the too-many cable channels. The biggest difference between the version shown for broadcast and this one is the level of profanity that you'll hear from the actors. I'm sure there was a titter in the audience at the movie theater when this first aired, but the true comedy written into this picture is far stronger than the laughs a couple of curse words generate. No, it isn't believable, but it is thoroughly entertaining. If you're willing to put aside your bias regarding conventional western comedies, I think you'll really get a kick out of this one.

Another one a friend recommended to me ,Done with flavor of old West and a hot babe to boot . Great stuff you can easily watch more than once , like a second time with friends and watch their reactions and see if they get the funny bone in same place as you .
Sort of a test to see how they really think and interpret comedy !
Parts remind me of back to the future and parts are like the Good the Bad and the Ugly, i can't explain it but if you look deep its there then turns crazy .

I expected more from this movie. I love Seth but this was not as good as Ted.

Many movies that claim to have you laughing often fall short. I was skeptical with this one as I had not seen any of its movie trailers. I was not disappointed. There were many very funny moments sure to please anyone who enjoys a good comedy movie. The casting was great with more stars than you will believe. This is a movie that we will enjoy watching over and over again.

If you like Seth McFarlane's sense of humor then you'll love this quirky western which explores and explodes every western cliche/myth and is filled with the foul language you would expect and hilarious performances by everyone. How often do you get to see a flower stuck in macho Liam Neeson's butt? Prepare to also laugh your butt off. Cleverly done.

Full of slapstick humor, dirty jokes, and a lot of completely random and irrelevant celebrity cameos. The only thing that was off about this movie is I expected it to have more death in it. It's a good slapstick movie with humor a lot like Ted or Family Guy. It will keep you laughing if you're in the right mood and are among friends with a drink in your hand.

If you are any fan at all of The Family Guy, then you will really enjoy this movie which stars Seth McFarlane. It is a western only in the sense that that's the setting, other than that it is raunchy yet funny too. It is hard to watch this and not picture Stewie being the main actor. Anyway funny for adults, but not for kids.

UNrated is a bit UNnecessary. I loved the original movie in the theatres but the extra unrated content was a bit extreme. Not all of it obviously but much of it was just over the top.
Still worth buying. But I wouldn't watch the unrated bits with your grandma. Just sayin.

Seth McFarlane brings us an old west comedy/adventure. For the most part the movie is decent and of course the humor more often then not is crude but you'd pretty much expect that coming from McFarlane. For me the movie just missed the mark a little, its worth seeing and all specially if you are a McFarlane fan most probably liked Ted better

Although reviews of this movie have been hit or miss, I found it to be funny (actually some parts are very funny) in a Seth MacFarlane way (that is, dry humor that's becomes funnier the more times you watch it). The casting was right on with no weaknesses on anyone's part. The ongoing joke regarding mustaches (including a song and dance number) was great. A lot of adult humor ( a bit crude at times), so perhaps not the best choice for young children. The Blu-ray version had a nice selection of extras. Overall a fun movie with a new take on the old west.

its funny, the greatest nahh, but it has its moments, it has a good cast but much like most movies these days you watch them once and they are funny you watch them again and its like eh its predictable forced laughter. if you find it in the 5$ bin go for it, if not buy something else

Seth McFarland continues to evolve as both an actor and film maker. He put together a great cast for a very entertaining movie! I look forward to seeing him in other film roles in the near future.
My family really laughed hard when we saw this at the movies and look forward to being able to watch it whenever I want at home!

I bought this because of Seth MacFarlane.
His sense of humor is hilarious. This movie was way better than I expected from the previews I saw. It's got the funny parts, but its actually a really good movie as well. Definitely worth a watch.

I couldn't help thinking that I was watching an update of Mel Brooks "Blazing Saddles" as much of this Western parody feels so much like that now classic film, from the cliché style of font used in the graphics, to the rehashed Copeland-esque Western score.
Fans of "Family Guy & Ted" will like this movie.

I enjoyed the movie a lot. I'm not going to go too much into the movie because this review would become a massive spoiler alert. I will say that I laughed a lot, especially at some surprise cameos. Seth MacFarlane is on his way to becoming the next Mel Brooks which is a massive compliment.

As someone who studies the old west period, I am very leery of western comedies. But this movies does a great job and is not just a cheap, quickly thrown together western. I laughed so hard through most of the movie. Love watching this movie.

When i first heard about this 2nd movie from Seth, I was sold. Saw Ted & loved it. I thought Blazing Saddles, but a whole lot more outrageous. Saw movie twice in theaters, 2nd time in was on giant screen at Marcus Theater in Orland Park, IL. Seeing it in hi-def makes it that much better.
