i love family guy. however, Seth's ventures into the world outside of animation is hit and miss (Ted was okay, Ted 2 was not). however, this is just a fun conception and a decent popcorn movie with plenty of throwbacks to his better known work.

You can expect to see some very juvenile toilet humor...( yet my kind!) It has some moments that drag...but on the whole not a bad experience..its not Battleship Potemkin, Gone with Wind or the Year of living Dangerously..but its a pleasant diversion from the stress in your life.

This was panned upon release, but I found the jokes to be very humorous, especially if you have any grasp of the history of the West. A few overly lewd jokes here and there, but mostly it is fun and smart. The extended cut adds a lot of great material as well.

I enjoyed this film alot more than I originally thought I would. The story is about Seth MacFarlane as a sheepherder in the old west, it's definitely from the mind that brought you to Ted and Ted 2 so if you enjoyed those two films you'll like this one as well.

Seen the previews, didn't think it was worth watching. However, once I seen it, haven't laughed like this since Jim Carrey's "Liar Liar." Even though the movie may seem stupid to some people, very glad I brought it. Sometimes watching a "stupid" movie is just what you need.

Seth Mcfarlene never lets me down!…If you like his work this will not let you down!…you will have a million laughs to die from!…Love his made for adult comedy! And this is a funny take on life in the wild, wild west! so, pour yourself a sarsaparilla, and sit back and laugh!

I enjoyed every aspect of this film... not only was it directed by Seth Mcfarlane, but it also featured Liam Neeson, one of my favorite actors. As well as Charlize Theron, this film had great chemistry of everything. i have nothing negative to say about this film. It was really hilarious!! from start to finish!! And of course it came from the same genious that brought us Ted!! Again a hit movie that I'm happy to add to my DVD, Blu Ray library!! and I have a vast collection...

My husband and I both really enjoyed the quick witted humor that was similar to that in Blazing Saddles. It's hilarious. It's wrong. It's completely inappropriate at times. We don't own many movies anymore, but this one has already entered our collection. FYI - If you buy the Blue Ray with Digital Download you'll also get to see the unrated version of the movie. Definitely worth the laughs, but if you are looking for a serious movie or plot line, go somewhere else.

Love the hilarity in this movie! I missed seeing it in theaters due to pregnancy, but bought it once it hit BR. Love love love it! Seth MacFarlane's dry humor is the best. It is blunt and to the point, which makes it great! He is a pure genius in comedy.

I love westerns, so I was very excited to check this one out. Seth is hilarious, but his co-stars really steal the show. If you're a fan of Family Guy, Ted or want to see a comedic western, this is a good choice.

Not being particularly familiar with Seth MacFarlane's other works, I've got to say I am impressed. High production value, great casting, and hilarious situations come together to make a film that definitely feels larger than the some of its parts.

If you're a fan of Seth McFarland, you'll love this comedy. Was great that they put both the R rated and the Unrated version on the same disc. 16 additional minutes brings out a lot more laughs than the version we all saw in theaters. Enjoy.

This is a western comedy laced with some raunchy and gory scenes and has some great spoofs. Seth MacFarlane and Charlize Theron were great in this movie along with an excellent supporting cast of actors. I highly recommend it.

If you're looking for good, wholesome family entertainment, this movie is definitely NOT what you're looking for. It is, however, funny at times - although not as funny as the movie it seeks to emulate - Blazing Saddles.

I thought this movie was very funny. Some parts were rather raunchy and a little disgusting - but - overall - very funny! Seth McFarland has a brand of humor that is not for everyone - but, I rather enjoyed this movie!

Don't listen to the people who wanted this to be 'Ted'. It's unexpectedly hilarious and clever. The video transfer is a sight to behold. It is reference quality, and the film was shot like an epic Western. Absolutely gorgeous.

Thought it was extremely humorous. The movie did not disappoint, the only trouble I had was that I kept picturing Albert as being Brian from Family Guy because of the voice. But it was hilarious and I enjoyed it tremendously.

Bought this on a blind buy.A little weird for a western.The story script is very unconventional for a western movie. If you are a Seth MacFarlane fan you will probable like the film.It does have it's moments for everyone else.

You don't see Western comedy movies, because western erea was about gun fights and plenty of action. Seth MacFarlane did a excellent job in bring laughter to the old west. Excellent one liners ..

I have to admit that I didn't know whether or not it would be funny when I bought it. It turned out to be better than I initially thought. I'm impressed, but of course Seth McFarland is always surprising me.
