    Not Your Typical Western

This is NOT a family night kind of film, there are scenes referencing (sometimes audible) intercourse, illegal drugs, language, and violence references/use through out. With that aside, this movie is a satirical masterpiece. I cannot name a single part of this movie that I did not enjoy. There are some crude jokes, and moments, but it kind of flows with the rest of the movie pretty well.

I love Seth McFarland. This is stupid fun. Don’t expect an Oscar worthy film and you won’t be disappointed. I bought this as a gift for my FIL who watched it and laughed like crazy.

This is a very satirical take on old western movies. If you are looking for a serious plot you won't find it here, but if you want a mindless enjoyable comedy this movie fits the bill.

If you're a fan of family guy or you're like me and enjoy silly comedies, definitely give this one a watch. At the same time, it's a good interpretation of what life was like in the wild west during that time period.

A very funny movie if you have a sense of humor. Took it over to my parent house to watch they didn't find a lot of this movie very funny. It got some better disgusting parts in the movie; but I laugh my butt-off.

I found AMWTDITW to be very entertaining. A lot of jokes that you'd expect to come from Seth McFarlane. A lot of crude, off color jokes were prevalent. If you enjoy Family Guys type of humor, you'll love this!

Don't look for realism, but definitely an off-beat comedy. Unusual roles for much of the cast, but it definitely works. Not quite hysterical, but definitely funny and highly irreverent.

im a pretty big fan of Seth McFarlanes work and was excited for this movie. Though not the same comedic timing as TED, this story kept me giggling throughout its tongue in cheek references and slap stick plays

I lot of spoofing Dr. Quinn (Tv western with late 20th century look on life ),And westerns in general . Not a child's movie , adult only ! A true 21th century look at the western saga . Not historical at all .

If you're a fan of Seth McFarlane, Family Guy, and Ted/Ted 2, then you'll like this movie. It's funny, dry and keeps you laughing throughout in typical McFarlane fashion!

This is a great western comedy in the tradition of Blazing Saddles. Macfarlane's comedy is not for the easily offended. He takes a jab at women, race, and family. There's also a funny musical number. Acton star Liam Neeson's turn as the villain is fun to watch as is the supporting cast that includes Giovanni Ribisi, Neil Patrick Harris, and Charlize Theron.

Your not looking for a Oscar winning performance in this movie. What you are looking for, are the smartly put together jokes about dying in the west. You'll laugh the more you listen and not just watch.

I will watch this movie again, to get a laugh, and then pass it on to someone else. The movie has a lot of slapstick, but the actors look like they had FUN making the thing. That has to be worth something.

A fun movie outing...the cast of characters were quite good...Liam Neeson is top notch, Charlize Theron sizzles and Seth MacFarlane is great as Albert. Loved Giovanni Ribisi too. Fun stuff here.

This movie has really "stupid funny" parts. Definitely need a crude sense of humor and no young children around when watching it. Not great acting or plot and definitely not for everyone but hilarious.

As long as you accept what you are watching before you start the film, it;s a lot of fun. Don't expect the next "Citizen Kane", and you will enjoy the low-brow humor that has made Seth McFarlane famous.

I liked the movie, it made me laugh and relax. It is not politically correct, big reason why I liked it, so watch out if you are the sensitive fluffy kind of person.

Combined new and old comedy. The language didn't seem to always be appropriate with the time. The story line was easy to follow. Don't think that the wife would like it because of the language used.

If you like the comedy parody type movies this is one not to leave behind. With a star studded cast to go along all the comedy you are sure to get a lot of laughs.
