I seen the new Star is Born . Not as good as Barb and Kris. I like Bradley n Gaga but the story line and acting was not as powerful and touching as the 1976 version. The ending in the 76 version was very moving and on a also brighter note.

A must for the Streisand music alone!

This movie captures Streisand at the very peak of her career. The song selections are phenomenal and showcase both her personality and her extraordinary range. There are few films that capture such powerful emotional responses to loss. You may want to check your pulse if you can watch this film and not cry during her final performance of "Are you watching me now". A once in a lifetime talent performing at her very best, Streisand gives the viewers a rare look at her tender and vulnerable side. A serious collection would be incomplete without this gem of entertainment value.

Poor audio, great movie

Nice picture quality and packaging including the book. Since they took the time for packaging why didn't they clean up the audio? They songs are loud but the scens where they are talking is way low. Only rate it an 8 due to this flaw.
