This Bond movie opens with one of the greatest chase/action scenes ever committed to film and released to the public. Roger Moore in his last portrayal of Bond finally gives it his all as an actor and delivers his most nuanced performance as Britain's greatest spy. Stellar all around.

Blu ray Bond is best !
I am replacing all of my DVDs with the blu ray version for my 4K player and flat screen.
Better picture, sound, and more durable disc.

Moore's Last Outing As Bond

A VIEW TO A KILL is Roger Moore's last James Bond film and it is one of his best. It is the pinnacle of Roger Moore's irony and contradiction to the James Bond established by Sean Connery and brought to fruition by George Lazenby. Here Roger Moore gives greater depth to James Bond than we have ever seen making his performance one of the most endearing. Guy Hamilton established this approach with GOLDFINGER and honed it with his excellent THE MAN WITH THE GOLDEN GUN, which was a mixture of action and absurdity at its best.

I saw the movie first back in the eighties and because the way action movies are made now ( with extreme stunts and pyrotechnics ), I thought that this movie would not be as thrilling as before but I was wrong. It still captivates the audience with its solid storyline and cool characters. Mayday remains one of the more interesting villains in the James Bond franchise. This is an excellent movie to watch and a good one to add to your collection.

A lot of people have ripped this movie, but it is better than advertised. Yes, it is Moore's last Bond flick, and yes he has gotten a bit too old, but the plot is fun, and the action is reminiscent of "You Only Live Twice," particularly in the way the villain has what appears to be an impenetrable lair. You will enjoy this movie if you are a Bond fan.

Great blu-ray for a decent James Bond Effort

This one is typically not considered one of the great James Bond films, but I've always enjoyed it because the villain is the great Christopher Walken. Also, we get Grace Jones and Tanya Roberts!
The blu-ray is packed full of extras, including the titular Duran Duran music video. Well-worth the purchase price alone.

One of my favorite James Bond movies, Christopher Walken is the villain and there's a blink and you miss it cameo of Dolph Lundgren. Tanya Roberts is gorgeous as the Bond girl and there's plenty of action on display.

We've been picking up bargain Blu-Rays waiting for 4K content and find that Best Buy has a great inventory, well organized and competitively priced. This Blu-ray was part of putting together a complete Bond collection-we're not finding inventory and in stock position like this anywhere else.

A View to a Kill was entertaining and the opening has a nice 80's theme. Christopher Walken always makes for an interesting bad guy but I think Patrick Macnee's character was a bit of a waste for the actor. He needed to be more of an equal for Bond given his Avengers history.

In my opinion, Roger Moore was the best 007 EVER! Christopher Walken makes a good Bond villian...he creeps me out anyway. Then throw in Grace Jones as the villainess? Fogedduhboudit! I remember as a kid loving the movie for the title song by Duran Duran.

The final Roger Moore bond movie, and it's great. Not only does it have Midge from That 70s Show (who's a hilariously bad actress) but has great performances by both Christopher Walken and Grace Jones as villains.

This is typical Roger Moore Bond cheese. Love the villain. Its just a blame good fun Bond movie. The best no. But a great fun movie from the cheese Bond period, only rivaled by Moonraker.

I am not the biggest fan of the Roger Moore Bond films, he is my least favorite Bond. But as far as Bond films go, this one it pretty good. It has all the cheese that you would expect from a Moore Bond film

I love this 007 movie, because it takes place in the city of San Francisco!!
It is something to see the City Hall on fire, and the last scene takes place on the Golden Gate Bridge.

The villain alone is interesting: a genetically modified human from secret WWII experimentation which resulted in super human abilities and psychopathic tendencies.
