Really good movie as usual for Liam neeson. Definitely make sure you know who's watching this or who you're buying this for. Very horrible subject material throughout that makes it disturbing to watch. There is a lot of gore and killing and obduction of girls by sickos in the movie. Very rated r in my opinion due to subject

IF YOU EXPECT THE NEXT "TAKEN" IT IS NOT, HOWEVER, THIS IS A GOOD MOVIE ABOUT A FORMER NYPD DETECTIVE WHO IS NOW A PRIVATE INVESTGATOR WHO TAKES THE JOBS HE WANTS. THE FILM IS SET BACK A FEW DECADES BUT IS DONE WELL. I LIKED THE MOVIE SO MUCH THAT I BOUGHT A FEW OF LAWRENCE BLOCKS BOOKS IN THE MATT SCUDDER SERIES.

If you are a fan Of Liam you should get this movie. He plays action like nobodies business. Take notice all action actors. Liam gets the job done. This was available in a Blu-Ray+DVD+HD Combo for a low price. So a big shout out to Best Buy for that. You always take care of me Best Buy!!!!

Ok The Film is Far from Taken but Really Good in a Old School The French Connection Gumshoe Gritty Cop Crime Drama that's far from Mainstream. But I Thought it was Really Good but a Disappointing Follow Up of 2007s The Lookout from Scott Frank.Overall a Good Buy for Now but Wait til Its $15 for The Bluray Buy.

Did not know what this movie was about going in, but this may be Liam Neeson's best role. This movie starts intense and stays intense for the duration. Not as much fighting as in the Taken series but this movie is worth a watch. Some brutal themes in this movie as the bad guys are complete monsters, so may not be a first date kind of movie. Definitely worth a watch if you like crime thriller mystery movies.

This is a ruff around the edges kind of movie it's not like the taken franchise that you know he's going to end up on top of the situation it's more like you don't know what's coming or how the movie is going to end I've seen so many movies i kind of know or guess what's coming next so this was refreshing

Hadn't heard of it, but saw the cast and went ahead and purchased. Quietly enjoyable, with a few quick surprises but also a few moments where you yell at a character for being a dummy. Cast includes a kid I had not seen but think we'll see more from in the future. -Maybe not great, but good.

If anyone is interested in this film, then they should know that this is not a retread of Taken. Based on Lawrence Block's Matthew Scudder novels, Liam Neeson manages to portray Scudder that's faithful to the novels. Here's hoping that the novels continue to be made into films.

Liam Neeson does a lot of these type of movies. This is similar and I like it. I do like a lot of them so, if you don't like them, you won't like this either. I also like anything Jason Statham does so, if you're like me, you'll like this.

Typical, but still good. If you like Neeson you will like this movie. Its a lot slower than most of his movies, but enjoyable all the same. I think it is because it is based on the novel by L. Block which is his typical style. Nice little twists. Good plot.

I continue to be amazed at how well Liam does in roles/films such as this. It can't be forgotten that he was in the award winning movie Schindler's List and his career since that point has been nothing short of extraordinary! This is a very dark film and one that doesn't hesitate to go beyond what you expect it to. Be prepared to cringe...a lot.

I almost never pass up a chance to see a movie with Liam Neeson so I knew had to check it out. While it is different from his Taken movies, I still thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a little slow-paced at times but I think it was still a solid performance.

The movie is pretty good and has a good mix of suspense and action mixed into the overall plot. Liam Neeson's character is a fallen from grace cop that has lots of problems and pushes on to do a good deed (as good as it can get) in the end.

Very satisfied, great deal. Great movie prices. Best Buy always have the name brands at competitive prices with other retailers that I have compared to. I have purchased my LG refrigerator, Bosch dishwasher, Samsung 55 in HD Led TV,Lg.Blue ray disc player and pioneer elite receiver. And like I said very satisfied. The employees are very courteous and helpful.

Not the typical Liam Neeson Taken sort of movie but it definitely keeps you guessing throughout. Before I purchased it I watched it every time it came on cable. It's definitely a good watch for some suspense with a little action.

It was a decent movie. It was a little slow at times but overall I enjoyed it. Don't expect it to be one of Liam's usual action packed movies because it's not. It's more of a thriller where he is trying to find out who the killer is.

Why are all the real men now old dudes? Liam Neeson is convincing as the hard times protagonist tough guy in a movie full of exciting moments. If you like those kind of movies, and I do, then this film will work for you.

This is a solid film. I feel it got a bit overlooked by both critics and audiences alike. Although it's not original and does drag a bit in spots, this is a strong genre film, and one of Liam Neeson's strongest recent efforts.

Liam Neeson gives a strong lead performance playing a sullen, no-nonsense type who is faced with a series of formidable challenges as he moves along life's trails. If you like Liam, you'll like this movie.

This is a pretty typical Liam Neeson movie, which is positive from my perspective. Although the story line is a little thin, there is pretty good action and suspense. For me, it is a good diversion and stress reliever.
