It's a different story of course, but This take on the scudder character is the perfect way to revamp the series. Hopefully more to come.

I have read all of Lawrence Block's book, and love them. I had never seen this movie, and was pleasantly surprised that is was very good.

Liam Neeson gives a solid performance. If you looking for a good crime thriller movie to watch, then you should definitely check it out.

Good movie which puts a role into a real life perspective of a cop. The actual story has some twists but that's how a mystery should be.

Typical Liam Neeson film. He talks slow on a phone a few times, put the pieces of the crime together and action to close it all out.

Since "Taken" Liam Neeson has been reduced to playing growling killing machines in most of his recent films, but in this adaptation of one of Lawrence Block's Scudder novels, he gets to sink his teeth into the character of the haunted, alcoholic ex-cop-turned private eye. The story (involving a drug dealer and missing women around the turn of the century) slips a bit in the second half but Neeson keeps the proceedings grounded.

Liam Neeson is just awesome in this. The way the scenes are filmed make the antagonists that much more creepy. You want retribution.

Little slow in some parts but another great performance from Neeson and as usual delivers a suspenseful film

Neeson is great as always in this intense thriller that has more twist and turns than the Taken series! Def a must watch!

I Shockley enjoyed this movie and although it was slow at first it ended up being a great true story mobster like move.

THE MOVIE WAS GOOD IT KEPT YOU GUESSING AS TO WHAT WAS REALLY GOING ON BUT SADLY IT NEVER REALLY TELLS YOU. STILL A GOOD MOVIE.

Not as much action as the Taken films, but a creepy storyline with some thrills and chills... Made this a movie worth watching.
