I just had to buy this for myself for Christmas. Rented it first and the 3 of us laughed until we cried. If you have any experience hiking and if you are a senior in particular this movie is absolutely hilarious. My favorite movie of the year

I was expecting more introspection but was pleasantly surprised to be rolling in laughter throughout the entire movie!

This is a great movie for anybody who wants to laugh and have a good time watching 2 screen icons!

Movie about 2 old guys hiking the Appalachian trail and the importance on setting realistic goals in life.

This is a must see, all about life, growing older and acceptance and friendship. Added bonus, a true story. Very compelling and touching , lots of laughs but tears too... Redford and Nolte are tremendous and will melt your heart .

The characters are real. It will particularly appeal to Bay Boomers recognizing we must not allow special life opportunities to slip away. Redford and Nolte, who s underrated as an actor, make it an enlightening and entertaining story

Reminds me of my 50--pushing 60 year old Dad out in the woods with either his friend or brother. Plenty of comical moments, while watching these two make it through the Appalachian trail. Wish i would've bought it sooner

Robert Redford and Nick Nolte were excellent in their roles as old friends who had very different personalities but collaborated to hike the Appalachian Trail. The based-on-fact story was inspiring, educational and humorous.

The actors were good, but the movie was not that fulfilling. Hoped for something better.

Didn't really care for the language. It describes about true friendship and believing in yourself.

Acting legends team together for a road trip /buddy film . It's very entertaining and inspiring.

This movie was hilarious, and both Nolte and Redford played their parts perfectly. I was non-stop laughing throughout the whole movie! Definitely one to watch!

Walk in the woods is an awesome movie for family. After watching the movie it makes one want to go and experience walking the Appalachian Trail. Robert Redford and Nick Nolte were made for the parts.

Easy, enjoyable movie with solid acting from Redford and Nolte, old favorites. Scenery is fantastic with bursts of humor sprinkled throughout. I will watch this every so often, savoring it like an old friend.

I bought this movie for my parents so I did not watch it myself but they both loved it.

I have found i enjoy more intimate movies like this especially as i have gotten older
