This is a classic Nicholas Sparks novel turned movie. It has a great plot: a pastor's daughter played by Mandy Moore has leukemia; Shane West's character Landon falls in love with Mandy Moore and undergoes a personal transformation throughout the movie. It has a sad ending, yet is an amazing and inspiring movie.

I liked this movie because it had a great plot. Its all about a girl who has cancer and is an outcast at her high school. She falls in love with this popular guy and then this movie becomes a bitter sweet romantic movie. It's a beautiful movie and it has a sad ending. Bring out the box of tissues.

I recently watched this movie for the first time, and I fell in love with it. Even though someone ruined the ending for me I still loved it! Shane West (Landon) is an amazing actor in this movie with Mandy Moore (Jamie). In the end I say EVERY GIRL DESERVES A GUY LIKE LANDON!

Really enjoyed the movie. I thought the actors in the leading roles did a very good job, really made you believe their characters. Even though I would have liked them to have a little more time together, I would definitely recommend this to my friends.

this movie was great, its sad, romantic. it resembles the notebook, i loved the movie. you will most likely cry, but thats alright. the meaning of it was amazing. the bad boy, with the good christian girl, so cute. if you like romance i would deff. recommend it.

This movie is one of the best movies in recent years. I have no problems recommending this movie to anyone. A superb movie and plot. Mandy Moore and Shane West did such an incredible job in this movie.

A classic bad boy turned good type of movie with a kind of twist at the end. I enjoyed this movie, but if you are going to watch it, go with the girlfriend, she'll probably like it more.

I really enjoy Nichols Sparks books, I love the North Carolina areas that is in the story line. All of his books really make you look at things a little different after reading it.

I would recomend this movie to anyone looking for a great romance movie. You can easily watch it more than once and it will have the same effect.

This has to be the best movie I've seen in a long time. I was even able to get my husband to watch it with me. A fantastic love story, that although has a sad ending, ends happily at the same time!

I absolutely LOVE this movie. I could watch it over and over again. Shane West being super hot is a major plus!! If only i could get my boyfriend to watch it with me!!

This movie was really good. I enjoyed the love story. I enjoyed watching it with my family and friends.

I love Shane West and I love Mandy Moore, but I did not love this movie. It was alright, but I predicted all the main things that would happen to happen early on. It's pre-The Notebook. It does give multiple messages to teens that anything is possible. The seemingly most cool guy in school could fall for the unnoticed plain Jane. And some events could be life-changing, and there's nothing you can do about it but endure. I find more issues with the plot than the acting, because Mandy Moore herself has the perfect homely girl personality for this role. She's beautiful and has the willpower to escape the hype of extraoridinary glamor and wildness. Shane West is the bad boy that everyone would want to see in his most emotional state. I wouldn't recommend it though. You'd be fine without it. Analyzing it was more fun than actually watching it.
