I seen critical reviews of this movie. I've watched this movie. Alert! It's a kids movie people. Get a grip. All movies that are based on books never please fans or critics. With that in mind, I think this could have been better. There were holes in the plot. Too much wandering around. I do understand today's PC nature of Hollywood, but that doesn't forgive them for putting out a substandard flick because of it. Hollywood has gone down the tubes with quality in the last 10 - 15 years. Most movies whether in theatres or disk/download, aren't worth the money people pay for them. However, this still was enjoyable, if you're a kid watching it and don't care about the rest.
