  • Hugh Grant is finally cool

    I love this movie. I never really cared for Hugh Grant and foppish hair back then and his awkwardness. In this movie, he won me over, cut the hair and was actually a cool guy. The transformation he goes through from being self centered womanizing jerk to actually turning into a decent human being is spectacular. The whole cast is great as well as the story but the Hugh Grant's character is the one that really stands out. Too bad he didn't get any oscar consideration for this role. Great movie to watch over and over again.

    Excellent movie, but the special features on this disc are what make the DVD outstanding. I wasn't a Badly Drawn Boy fan until I checked out the videos and interviews. The songs and music fit the movie to a T.

    This is a nice change of pace for Hugh Grant, where he is still bumbly yet not completely likeable. The boy is wonderful, and the story is somewhat depressing and happy all in one.
