Santana's Best Album
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.ABRAXAS is Santana's best album ever, blending Latin, African, blues, rock, jazz, and R&B influences into a powerful sound that all jazz-rock fusion bands should have aspired to in the mid-70s. The guitar work is white hot, with Gregg Rolie's calm vocals providing a good contrast to the explosive instrumental work.

Classic Santana album...

Flamenco-styled guitar gymnastics accentuate an over-all subtle and complex piece of work. Re-release does shed a little new light on and old hit with three new live tracks. For the un-initiated, a good buy, for the acolyte, not necessary.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.If you've never experienced Latin music, this is a great introduction. Very powerful, but still beautifully rhythemic. Every song fits seemlessly into the next. Incredible!!
