This cable adapter allows me to use the charger that came with my motorcycle (and its adapter to go to a nema 6-20 plug) and plug it using this adapter into the dryer receptacle in my garage. So instead of taking about 8 hours to charge at 1.2kW and 12 amps to charging in about 4 hours at 3.5 kW and 32amps. This was much better that spending up to $1000 to put in a level 2 charger in my garage. If you have an EV with a charger that has a Nema 6-20 plug than I would recommend this cable to you.
