This was my first ever Acer Aspire laptop purchase and I couldn't be more pleased! Out of the box plug and play, fast, works great and most important...it's very lightweight! I got the red color, which is actually more of a deep red and I absolutely love it and very elegant looking!

So this is my first laptop ever that wasn't a Dell. The only reason I didn't go with a Dell is because they're less and less customizable and more expensive than alternatives like Acer. I've had it for about a month so far and have to say I'm more or less just as happy with this laptop as I have been with my Dell's. Pluses are the numeric keypad on the keyboard. Detractors are it would be nice to have a backlit keyboard. Also 4 GB RAM is a little ridiculous for this type of system, the $50 extra on the street you'd pay for 8 vs 4 GB (meaning it probably only runs the manufacturer $5) should've been rolled into the machine here. Otherwise, no complaints, working well so far.

I had an Acer for about 4 years. I replaced a battery once and had purchased a new keyboard to be installed ( German Shepard thought he was a lapdog! ) I would still be using my old Acer except for an airline cracking my screen. LONG STORY! I decided it wasn't worth repairing. My children found my new Red Acer on line at another store for a lower price than BestBuy. BestBuy price matched and ordered it. This has everything my old Acer did, I wanted windows 7, nothing fancy. I only use my computer for shopping. as my calendar for appt's, birthdays, E-mails, pictures from my kids and some other small stuff. I'm not computer savvy. I have been happy with my new Acer so far and hope to get many years out of it.

I purchased this Red Acer laptop around 4 months ago and I have to say that I'm very happy with this product! Its a good size with good memory space. The only problem I have with the laptop is the mouse... It's a little sensitive, but other than that I think it's a really good laptop and a good first laptop for those looking for one like I was. Great price and I just love that it is a Windows 7 10/10 would recommend

My wife uses it to work from home and it's just what she needs. She needed a windows 7 computer. Works well and would recommend it for windows 7. She loves the color and hiw compact it is.

Am finally loving the new laptop. Had to get all the adware off first. Why do they have to put that cr@p on there?

Good for the price but having issues with the cd/DVD drive. Doesn't work most of the time.

Purchased this lap top because I needed a product with Windows 7. So far no issues. Love the color! It is the perfect size for my travel needs.

Does everything my daughter needs for "fun stuff". Web surfing e-mail, you tube. Fast enough. With speakers plugged in, music sounds great. She likes it. And, being red is a nice touch when everyone else's is drab black

I like the computer with the Windows 7 program. It is easy to navigate through the program. Very nice laptop for the price.

Needed a replacement laptop for my niece. I tried swaying her toward a tablet but she chose the Acer product instead. She is very pleased with it.

The labtop was a great buy. The labtop also comes in a pretty color. It comes with everything I want in a labtop for a great price.

This was purchased for a work computer replacement. No problems so far. Easy to set up the computer and get everything configured. I would recommend for the price. Pretty light and easy to transport.

Nice low priced laptop for beginners or someone that wants to connect to internet. Needs a larger battery is the only thing I have found.
